What we liked is that when we had a flat tire, Alamo replaced our car quickly. What could have been better is that a representative works have been at the counter when we arrived. Over-all a great experience!

the type of vehicle waiting for me based on the number of suitcases was not acceptable. Just because my flight was delayed. They dont have nice size vehicles as advertised on their site . I would not use this site again or ALAMO . Customer service sent us outside of the airport and we got a compact car when I paid for a full size SUV, I was delivered a day later a nissan X trail and no one could fit on the third seat ... My vacation was not enjoyable due to the type of vehicle I was stucked with . I expected a full size SUV and I got a mini SUV we could not visit all the places we wanted to .

The staff was very friendly and we ended up with a great car. However, pickup and dropoff each took 1.5 hours with only one other person in line ahead of us. The process needs to be streamlined better; there's no reason it should take that long to print out and sign documents.

Arrived at counter to pickup my car, only they ran out of the car I reserved. They offered me a large suv that was 2.5 times more expensive or a subcompact that wouldn’t hold our passengers/luggage. Ended up leaving without a car after 75 minutes at the counter. Cabs ended up costing me much more than what I reserved.

Cars show some were and tear. Agents try to sell you premium insurance that can be considerably costly. Be sure to as what coverage is needed outside of CDW coverage that your credit card provides.

The car insurance was higher than the cost of the 4 day rental. The Allianz insurance I purchase through you was rejected. “It doesn’t cover us.” The staff was purposely deceitful about the prices by phrasing and purposeful omission. The car was booked for 5 days, but since they were not open until after my returning flight, it was returned a day early. The rental day was not reimbursed, “because I booked in advance and not there in person.” So I was forced to pay an extra day of rental and insurance. There were angry customers around me complaining of a similar experience. I now understand why. Needless to say, I will never rent a vehicle through them again.

I landed at Santo Domingo at 9 pm local with a proper Hertz reservation to be told at the Hertz stand they had no car available for me, no alternative to offer and I could get lost. Needless to say my holidays were ruined. I will see what my next step against Hertz will be. Totally unprofessional and even criminal to leave a family like that at 10 pm at this airport with no service at all. NEVER EVER AGAIN WITH HERTZ

They ripped me off on the front end, charging me a price significantly higher than what I booked online. Then they added charges on the back end, including $56 because there was some sand on the floor of the front seat. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE THIEFS!!!!

Absolutely nothing.

We booked a car for $120 + tax for a total of $210 approx. When we picked up the car, it wasn’t ready and then they told us we had to pay an additional $270 for mandatory insurance. Zero chance I was paying double the booking price for insurance. Called around to other places and found a rental for $280 all costs included. Lost half the day due to this mess. Will never use kayak again.
