I had given flight number and my car was reserved at the wrong airport. I called Alamo and they told me I was out of luck. So I got gauged by Avis

Easy to Order but the 1/2 hr wait for counter staff to work without internet was a pain. Staff were doing their best at the time. Just lucky it was a sunday

Thrifty is a third party, so if you book does not mean you’ve got a car. Once I was a the car rental they told me I had to reservation at all

Not good... we didn't take a car from thrifty because the SUV which we reserved ended up being an electric sedan... not again with this company

Exceptionally Excellent service . They were so kind & took care of us by picking us up from the boat terminal . & then dropped us back too to the boat terminal. So welcoming . After a long flight that’s what you need. A sense of security at a new island . His wife told me about some local restaurants. I can keep on going in praising them . The only place to rent your car while on the island .

Line went pretty fast and the representative was very nice and helpful

Was charged for fuel (3 gallons) when I returned the car topped off. Completely unsatisfactory!

Got charged for key, full tank of gas and towing inspite of dropping the car with the key and full tank at the car rental drop off.

90 minutes to pick up a car while they tried to upsell every customer. Cleaning guy said they are in commission. Agent got upset and mouthed off at me when I approached the desk and said I don’t need insurance, toll devices, or anything else, just the car.

Terrible! Upon arriving in Denver we shuttled to ace and there was at least a hour wait in line. While standing in line we noticed a sign that no cars were allowed out of the state. So we had to shuttle back to the airport and book another car rental with someone else which obviously took a lot of valuable time. Bottom line we didn’t rent from ace and never will again.

The wait for the shuttle to pick up the car took ~30 min 15 min would have made this part of the review Excellent

More people working the desk to speed up check in and drop off.

Excellent vehicles for great price. Could have more shuttles or larger shuttles to carry larger groups with luggage

This rental company requires 2 shuttles and requires their own insurance (not included in the booking fees) which doubled the cost of our rental. By the time we were made aware of these extra fees, changing to another company was equally expensive last minute. While they were nice about it and the car was clean, these two inconveniences (wasting time and money) mean I would never rent from them again.

Waited for the shuttle at viscount station for 40minutes. Walking would be 20mins. Was forced to buy additional insurance for 12$ a day and paid more than the original cost of renting the car.

Although we reached out during their normal business hours, we were never able to pick up the car, because we weren’t able to contact them to get the shuttle to the location. We finally got in contact with someone who told us she would call us back with an update on when to expect the shuttle, but she never called us back.

The car made an insane vibrating bass sound that people could hear from outside, it sounded like there was some black market subwoofer in there. I rented this car to attend my grandfathers FUNERAL. I’m in the procession sounding like I’m blasting bass filled music! I tried to call them to be like what on earth and they never answered. When I returned the vehicle and reported the noise to them they were like “oh yeah we know about that, this type of car is probably going to get recalled because they all make that noise.” Seems like something one would mention BEFORE. Also took like 45 minutes to get the car because they had one person at the desk and the people in front of us didn’t have a shred of the details they needed so there was just a line forming behind them. Also the car was overdue for an oil change by THREE THOUSAND miles and the car kept sending an alert about how the oil life was at 0%. When I told them this when dropping off the car they were just like “oh yeah we know”

They said pickup was at the airport. It is not. You have to walk 1/3 mile with your luggage to take a shuttle to their place which is 15 minutes away. I waited thirty minutes for the shuttle and finally gave up and rented from another company.

They forced to take an Insurance which was not included in my réservation which I refuser. They Said you may or you leave …

pick up time was quite long but it was a busy day and I just missed one bus so 30 mins wait for the next. Better instructions to locate the bus would help
