Bait and switch. Avis did not have the car I booked when I came for pickup. They had zero vehicles to offer for my reservation, which left me stranded in the city I had flown to.

Make sure to inspect your rental has been cleaned before you leave the facility regardless of the time of day. I picked up a car around midnight and didn’t noticed that there was blood on the window controls and steering wheel until the next morning.
