They did not have a car ready. Would have had to wait 2 hours. I heard a gentleman say he had been there 3.5 hours. Got a car someplace else. The workers wee great, professional and kept their cool. Not having a car ready was the issue.

While Payless advertise a 100% smoke-free fleet rental car had definitely been smoked in. I tried to clear the air every time I got in it losing a can of febreze but could never overcome the smoking stench. Additionally, the car had numerous dings and the transmission made noise whenever it was in gear. The car definitely had mechanical, cosmetic, and smoking odor problems.

Good experience, everything was handled efficiently and on time The shuttle was ready to pick up to and from airport. The car we got was very basic so at times it struggled to drive uphill but we made it.

The overall was experience was terrible. The price quoted for the rental was correct. They quoted me $16.88/ per day for insurance but charged me more than $70.00/ day. The contract is all in Spanish, so it is hard to determine what the charge is. I found out when I check my card statement. I immediately went to the office in Merida to resolve it but was told they (1) did not understand English well enough, and (2) they could not do anything about it. The car was high milage, the sides and rear of the car were scratched, the interior seating was badly stained and dirty. they said they had no better vehicle available. I will not do business with Payless ever again. I also question the value of using Kayak in the future. Note, I insure to two late model vehicles for about the same amount over 6 month period then they charged for 15 days. This should be a crime.

When I arrived in Jackson there was no rental car for me even though I presented them with reservation, insurance and payments. I then found an email that said I had a rental in Brandon, Ms where I called and was told they did not have a car for me. After an hour the Enterprise rep in Brandon was able to get me a car, not the one I got through Kayak, pay again and take an Uber from the airport to the facility 14 miles away to pick up the car. Bad experience. I was late to my meeting.

I got upgraded to a higher level of a cqrl than what I had signed up for, for the same price. I was also offered Sirius FM as a bonus and it was a joy to list to some of its radio stations. The car was clean and very comfortable. Overall the experience was excellent.

Everything was perfect,except the on line service doesn't notify you about the 250.00 deposit that will be returned when u return the car!!And it was returned

You have to go inside the airport terminal to the counter because no one staffs the location in the parking garage. Other than that, it was a typical rental.
