Worst experience ever. Called in the am to tell me they did not have a car but would have one later that day. I called two hours to verify they would have a car before close. They told me they were waiting on the truck to arrive with the SUV’s and were given permission to stay after close until all customers received their rental. Needless to say it’s been a week after my reservation and never received my rental. The company did not make any type of follow up call about my rental. I was forced to find another vehicle during my kids spring break. This reservation was made a month in advance AND they called me a couple days prior of the reservation to confirm. I will never rent from Budget again.

Kayak was great. The process was easy and I was happy with the price. When my plans changed and I was going to get into town late I called budget to let them know I would be arriving after my selected location had closed and asked if there was another budget location in my area. The woman quickly told me no. I asked again in a way that made it clear I was asking not just about the town I had originally selected but any surrounding town and the answer was the same. I got online and secured a rental car from the airport just a few miles away. The rental was through budget. Kayak was great but the service I received from budget when I called was pathetic.

There was no owners manual. So figuring out how to turn off windshield wipers , where the phone plugged in, how to get navigation displayed etc was time consuming & annoying.

Mainbcustomerbservice confirmed pick up the van at 8 am. When we got to Ann Arbor the van was scheduled to arrive at 10:30. The staff was great,, found another vehicle but we sat for 2 hrs waiting for a vehicle.

For some dingbat reason you closed an entire office without notice, transferring reservations to another location miles away. This placed way too much pressure on the staff at the substitute location and majorly inconvenienced people with reservations trying to access their rentals. Very poor management. As they say, next time go Enterprise.

Are you kidding me? Renting car weeks in advance only to be told on departure day there are no vehicles available anywhere in our metro area? This is unconscionable and should frankly be illegal as they are renting cars that don’t exist. Some executives are getting bonuses while their front line employees and customers are treated like garbage. Buyer beware!

The reservation I made was not available. Fortunately the Hertz office in Ann Arbor was phenomenal and helped me get a car. The car itself was older and not very clean. However, I was very happy to have a car at all.
