Toyota car rentals in Anchorage

The car constantly had mechanical problems.

Suboptimal location at the airport. Bus and small shuttle bus needed to get there. Outdated office space. Lots of paper work that was outdated and vague. Insurance not included in the rental price, some hassle with external website for this. Signing of photos of the state of the car before actually seeing it.

I had reserved and prepaid for a mid size car and they gave me the lowest economy car. I told them that was not the car I had reserved but they refused to change it. They also made me pay for an extra insurance even though I showed them the insurance confirmation email I had prepaid. So I ended up paying twice for insurance. Finally, they made me pay for the car cleaning service even though the car was practically clean at return. Not the best service to be honest, small company, not a big fleet to choose from.

COST TO RENT VAN FOR ONE WEEK WAS REALLY HIGH.

Pick up was smooth and the service great. The only negative was the fact that I was not told that the office would be closed on drop off. Not a big deal but the return time was listed at 5 pm And they knew that the office closed at 4 They should have advised re: protocol for drop off.😯

Be very careful with this company. There was a small nick on my driver side door that I didn’t catch on initial inspection. Now they are trying to charge my insurance a grand

Searched for 6 months and found this to be the best price in Anchorage. Reserved a sedan, but was upgraded to VW Tiguan at no extra charge. No difficulties with pickup or return. Not a Budget issue, but ANC should have more luggage carts available.

Budget pulled a bait and switch. I reserved a car in January 2022 for our June 2022 vacation. I received a confirmation. I was able to obtain a very good rate because I reserved it ahead of time. However when I called two days before our trip to reconfirm my reservation I was told that the reservation had been canceled. They claim that I canceled it, which I never did . Further there was no cancellation email ever received by me. When I asked to speak to a supervisor they transferred me to three or four different employees who either transferred me to someone else or hung up on me. When I finally was able to speak to someone they said they couldn’t help me, the reservation had been canceled and there’s nothing they can do. BUT, they said that they had the same car available that I had originally reserved and would be happy to rent it to me for THREE TIMES the original quoted price. Budget is a scam! I will never rent from them again. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Great vehicle at a reasonable price! Mix up on the billing, but they fixed immediately with no hassle when I brought it to their attention. I will definitely book with them again.

Excellent experience. Rented mystery car, guaranteed compact or larger. Actually received Chevrolet Traverse. Loved it so much it may be my next purchase car. Also, my counter rep was the most courteous I have had in long time. Thanks for everything.

I liked the drop off, very good and efficient.

Arrived an hour earlier than scheduled time, vehicle was ready. Customer service agent was knowledgeable and got us on our way quickly.

Everything was great except the cost. Cost could have been a little less.....

Our car was ready at arrival and everyone was so friendly and helpful…start to finish!

Didn’t get what we ordered. Waited two hours to change to something we didn’t ordered. When drop off the cat the rental record were totally wrong with other renters name and credit card. Took a long time to fix that and still got charged more than what we agreed to at the end. Need to talk to someone when get back home to take care of this.

We got a free upgrade. Pick up and drop off was very convenient.
