This was overall a terrible experience for me. The car was extremely dirty (both inside and outside) at pick-up. The drop-off experience was even worst. I made a reservation for a day, traveling from PA to CT for an estimated cost of $201.24 due at pick-up. I dropped off the car around noon (mid-day) on the same day. A few days later, I checked my bank account and saw that they charged me $631.33 (triple the initial estimated price I agreed with at pick-up). It turns out that when I dropped off the car, the agent did not add it to the system until three days later, which he confirmed to me himself. Then, he told me to call the company for a reimbursement, which would take two to three weeks. When I called Hertz, they confirmed that they charged me for three days instead of one and told me they would do what is necessary to deal with the issue. I still have not received any follow-up calls or emails from them. This is extremely unprofessional and irresponsible of them.
I need my money back. The agent made a mistake that I ended up paying for.
