Mad Monkey Broadway is a backpacker hostel near Central Station, Sydney - positioned for travellers who want to explore the city: walking distance to Newtown’s eclectic shopping and street art, Chinatown’s food scene in Haymarket, and the Broadway shopping centre. Every room is air-conditioned, dorms come in mixed and female-only options, and free local gym access is included with every stay. The atmosphere is calmer and more homely than a typical party hostel - common-room jam sessions, shared dinners, and easy conversation - while organised events and nights out still run seven days a week. A swimming pool sits just across the road, a single bus reaches Sydney’s beaches, and the Harbour Bridge and Opera House are close by. Central Station’s proximity makes Broadway an ideal base for day trips, including the Blue Mountains. Power points at every bed, free WiFi, and large security lockers throughout.
