Good experience with pick up in SLC. Frustration with drop off in Vegas - address did not include exact location- just a huge hotel property. Somehow we were supposed to know the drop off was on the 10th story of the parking garage? Garage was not clearly marked with area to drop keys. Said to put key in the envelope and make time/mileage. No envelopes. Frustrating and took twice as long as expected - making us miss our evening show engagement - a cost of over $200….

I did not like anything about the Hertz in Salt Lake City. We were late to the place because our flight was cancelled and we were rebooked on a different flight that arrived little later than the original. By the time reached Hertz, there all cars were rented and we were offered a tiny SUV which could not accommodate 4 adults and 5 carry-on bags. The attendant was very rude and refused to give us any car because I raised my voice. We were in Utah for 10 days. We could not use the small SUV for tat many days. I will never ever rent from Hertz anymore. I had called them twice and confirmed the car. But, still they had no mid-size SUV for us. I think they just did not have any cars to rent and made it look like they were rented prior to us getting there. The attendant insulted us several times. Me raising my voice was warranted because we were left without a car. This was the worst experience we've ever had travelling anywhere in the world!

It took us over an hour to get the vehicle due to a long line as well as having to be out on a waiting list. There were only two employees working. They also did not honor my gold status for expedited check in. Worst experience I’ve had with a car rental agency

We requested a car from the SLC airport and included our flight info. Flight didn’t land until 3. At the counter we were told we had to get our car from the downtown Herz office. We found a ride to that office and arrived to find they closed at noon. There was a guy in the office due to a plumbing issue who said they closed at noon and didn’t have any cars. They were closed on Sunday as well and wouldn’t be able to help until Monday. We needed the car Saturday afternoon until 10am Tuesday and we stayed an hour out of town. We had to find another rental option. This was a bad experience and a waste of time. We called and should be getting a refund.
