Electric car rentals in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

I’ve been online and did ExpressCheck in. When I arrived, I had to wait in line, which was fine, except that there was no privacy for discussions about money, and the person in front of me are very upsetting experience. I did finally reached the counter and ported that I had already checked in through Xpress and paid, the staff person told me that I had not paid that I had simply entered the information. He then charged me. I now have two charges on my credit card of two fees from two separate agreements. I also see that the receipt I got was for one price, $77 I don’t my credit card I still see the deposit charge of $200. All toll I have a charge of over $500 for a car that was supposed to cost me $77 for 24 hour period. I fully expect to get the deposits back because the car was in good shape and the attendant at the New Orleans airport and drop off, the nicest person in the whole process, told me everything was fine. So yes got a good experience.

The pickup process was very quick and the vehicle I was given was very clean and nice. The drop off process was very quick and easy as well which was just what I needed. The only thing I would change was the price but I know the prices will increase when you drop off at at a different location

They charged me for gas and I filled the tank right outside the airport

I was told that my reservation was cancelled because I did not forsee a delay in my travel for a mechanical failure to the airplane when I made the reservation two weeks in advance. After explaining that to the Hertz employees and leaving to find alternative transportation I was given a rental car. I would not recommend a rental from this location.

The guy at the Hertz office who assisted me was great- friendly, helpful, patient, good communicator, and a ready smile. I appreciated his help so much.

Car broke down on second to last day, leaving my family stranded for several hours until a replacement was secured. Absolutely horrible experience.
