Horrible experience!!!! The local Thrifty office would not honor the reservation as they told me they didn't have cars. However, I was told that if I booked directly now, they had cars available but the price was 3x the price for the same car! Total scam. I can't believe Thrifty is allowed to conduct themselves this way.

I booked a car for a about 1800 pesos per day ended up paying double. Never gonna use kayak again. First of all thrifty doesn’t exist anymore, it belongs to Hertz. I booked a compact car and got an economy car in very poor and unsafe condition. I had to go to 3 counters at the airport before I got someone to talk to. I felt robbed. Had no value added from using kayak. , go and book directly with the already known companies, there are also plenty of local businesses these days you can also reach out to, they are reliable, give them a chance.
