First off, whenever I got to Hayden Airport, Colorado, there was nobody at the desk for 40 minutes. Was supposed to have a sedan with good gas mileage, they gave me a keep compass. Was uninformed that the would take $500 over the price for using a debit card, and didn’t find out until I checked my bank statement. Vehicle was not cleaned & had a McDonald’s bag with two old burger boxes & some other trash stuffed underneath the seat. White powder covering the side of the passenger seat & down on the crevice between seat. I filled the rental up on my way to drop-off, but during checkout, Hertz tried to charge me as if I brought it back with 3/8th if a tank ($87 more than a $62 rental) The only thing saving this review, is the fact that a very kind customer service rep. at the Denver Airport adjusted the charges for me, however I’m still waiting “7-10 business days” to receive my $500 refunded. I’ve used Hertz religiously during travel, but I will definitely not be using them again.
