The Hertz kiosk was the only car rental facility closed. We could not pick up our vehicle upon arrival. We had to book another car rental and pay more. Horrible experience!

Picking up was very unpleasant. I had to wait at the front desk and listed to the agent complain on the phone for over 5 minutes about the prior customer before helping me. Then he was super argumentative, saying I was at the wrong location, but because he was nice he’d help me out - completely unprofessional. The vehicle was not something I’d ever buy, it would have been nice to see an American made option… it was like a cheap plastic toy that was seriously lacking power and comfort.

Even though Hertz could not fulfill my reservation, they did not erroneously charge me for it.

I was able to make a reservation to pick up a car at the State College Hertz, but when I showed up, the place was closed and I was instructed to pick up my car at the airport. I called the airport Hertz to confirm this, but no one answered the phone. When I arrived at the Hertz at the airport, there were no cars available, despite being able to reserve one.
