It’s a local car which is perfect for driving on an island. It looked like every other car in a parking lot which I like. I don’t like having a flashy car that stands out. This one blended in perfectly. The pick up and drop off was excellent and expedient. It was excellent value for the price.

Car had +61000 miles, but felt older! Lots of rattles amplified by rough island roads. Trunk was a disgrace with interior falling apart! Trunk lid opened several times unexpectedly when driving!! A/C system cooling was also weak.

The gentlemen at Ace were great to work with fort our car rental. We never use credit cards, only our bank debit card. We hadn’t even thought about needing it for a deposit. The guys at Ace found a solution for this issue that was fair to both sides. They didn’t have the car type that we had reserved but it really wasn’t a problem. We were provided with a car that fit our needs for the weeks we spent on the island

My car was old and it smelled funny. Paint on car was scratched and not shiny brand new. A little disappointed. Service was great though. Fast and efficient service for both pick up and drop off. 3.5 stars out of 5.

Flexibility on the return was excellent. Normally the office opens at 8:00 a.m., but we had an 8:30 flight, so we had to return the car by ~6:30. They don’t have a drop-box (which would be helpful!), but they arranged for the security guard to drive us to the air terminal. This eased a lot of stress about how we would return the car on-time, as we were staying across the island and would have had difficulty had we had to return the car the previous day.

Condition of the car was fair - many scratches and scuffs. However, I think that’s simply one of the realities of having a car on an island with roads that are narrow and in poor condition overall.
