They force you to buy insurances you dont really need,they double their profits by doing this,it should be outlawed

Avis en El Salvador cobran una aseguranza más cara de lo que acá te dicen. No renten atraves de esta plataforma o simplemente no renten con Avis en El Salvador. Ya que cuando llegas con ellos te dicen que tienen la reservación pero que hay un problema que no agregaste aseguranza, cuando esta plataforma te dice que no necesitas. Y si agregan aseguranza atraves de esta plataforma allá allá no te aceptan, entonces estás obligado a tomar una seguranza que doblega el precio de lo que te dicen aquí. Me aumentaron 200 dólares más de lo acordado. Y te obligan y viéndote en la situación que estás y no a viendo de otra te toca pagarlo. Pero son unos sin vergüenzas que juegan con los precios y te tratan mal y te humillan con su actitud prepotente. Dicen que son confiables cuando te estafan con aseguranza mas innecesarias. No renten con ninguna compañía la del aeropuerto. Son unos sin vergüenzas. No renten con ninguna agencia de El Salvador atravesar de ata plataforma. Da vergüenza que aquí te digan una cosa y allá te salgan con otra.

When I picked up the vehicle, the car was very unsafe. I was charged an extra $271 when arrived in order to be able to have a rental. She stated it was mandatory to pay this amount for an insurance. She did not explain why when asked. She was very rude. I explained to her that I had already purchased an insurance online through Kayak when booking my reservation. She did not care and demanded I pay the amount or else I would not be able to get a rental. The doors where all broken with the seal to the doors loose not being able to close. We had hold the doors with our hands otherwise they would flip open. The handles where broken as well. The door handles where wrapped with tape broken. The car was very old and broken down. Very dirty and the windows would not roll all the way up. I experienced myself along with my family and items getting wet from broken windows. The agent at the registration told me to take the vehicle downtown to where they repair vehicles if i was unsatisfied with the vehicle. That is very unprofessional of Avis. I am not familiar with El salvador which is an international country for this agency to be sending me to go repair a car that should already be inspected and safe to rent. I am very disappointed and would like to dispute my reservation amount and speak to a supeerviso. When i tried to return the vehicle early, they denied me. They stated i MUST complete the full reservation. I will never book with Avis again. They need to be investigated for being fraudulent.

Very bad experience.

I was suppose to pay $65 at counter at pickup. They had no record of the 77 dollars I already paid with you! And told me that KAYAK was a scam and I shouldn’t have bought insurance at time of booking with kayak. I ended up paying 295 dollars for rental w their insurance when initial agreement was 165 for rental an insurance when I booked with You Kayak. Also they held 450 of my money. The car they brought me was beat up and not even road worthy. Had to wait for another car. Then spent the majority of my vacation trying to get a hold of KSYAK CUDTOMER SERVICE TO FINF OUT DHI TOOK MY 77 dollars. Still do not no where this money went. Fast forward when time to drop off no one was there to receive car at 530am as agreed and had to leave key under the mat . Very very very bad experience with budget and KAYAK

Budget local cancelled in the last minute and ruined our vacation. Never again.
