car was ready when I asked, clean, got great mileage, and destination airport had 24 hour service, so when I arrived at 4 o'clock in the morning, they were there smiling in a great mood happy to take the keys and get me on my way super efficiently.

I had to wait in line at the airport rental desk to show my rental agreement and then after being directed to the outside area I waited for almost 30 minutes to get my car. After getting in the car and leaving the airport it became very obvious that the vehicle had been smoked in. It stank so bad that we drove with the windows down and left the windows down everywhere we parked for the entire week that we drove the car.

Pick up there were delays of 30-45 minutes after I arrived. They had to bring cars from airport and clean and they weren’t ready despite 10A pick ip and I arrived at 10:15. Car smelled like smoke and tank half full. Staff at front desk and pick up was very kind and professional. It was clear they were doing their best.

At pickup we had to wait 45 minutes because they were swamped due to airline cancellations

I like the price. Didn't like waiting in line for an hour to get to counter..

The car was provided with only 1/2 tank of gas, but had to be returned full. There was no one to communicate this issue with at pick-up. I asked if I could have a partial refund or the price difference at drop off, and was told no.

It took 90 minutes to get my car. When I made the reservation, I answered all the quesitons, flight number and expected landing time. And my driver license number, and credit card info. I had to do it all over again at the counter, and it took over 11 minutes to process my chip card. The counter person said that they had to find my car, and after confirming my car, the payment would go through and whatever made up story she had. It was clear that the people behind the counter needed training, as a manager was running from person to person. and when we walked across into the Reno parking building, we were told 25 minutes, which became an hour before our car was brought out. They had to clean it. When I was growing up, Avis had a slogan, we try harder. Now, the slogan should be, go f*ck yourself, we don't care. This is another example of a bust out by a private investment group buying a company and bleeding it out in fees and debt.

Personnel were friendly but the car I was first assigned at Meadow Wood Mall had an issue with low tire pressure by the end of our first day. We had to return it the next day when I awoke to a flat tire. Hotel personnel helped me fill up air so I could drive it back to the Mall. In the end, there was limited inventory so I was referred to the airport location. Staff that checked my car in at the airport apparently did not give me the proper slip with the end mileage or fuel tank status, so I had to go back to where the car return was after having already walked to the counter. Once returning to the counter the exchange was made, and everything was good, except that we discovered later that the inside of the car had not been cleaned and was full of food crumbs, food wrappers, etc. Things were sticky and dusty --- kind of gross, actually. I would highly recommend that staff pay more attention in cleaning the inside of the car as well as the outside of the car. That said, the second car ran well. The first should have never been assigned. It was a 2020 Honda CRV that had more than 40,000 miles

The car had been washed (very quickly I think, because it was not very clean and the inside had not been cleaned very well either), but it was comfortable. It came with gps which we didn’t expect, so that helped in getting around and to our next destinations. Overall, a good rental… just not very clean.

Took nearly an hour and a half to get the car from the airport. Ridiculous. I’ve never experienced anything like it. The car and drop off were great!

Took 2 hours of standing in line at the airport to finally get the car, then when I returned it, the Budget employee didn’t properly check it in so I was charged for 3 extra days.

The advertised price was not what I ended up paying and I’ve been charged 3 times on my credit card.

Very low staffing and long lines, with Hertz badged employees catering to Thrifty customers despite long Hertz lines.
