Gas tank was not full. There were sticky tape marks on outside of car doors. Otherwise, I was satisfied. The attendant at desk in Mobile alabama was very helpful and professional.

Staff was courteous and quick to facilitate the rental. Pick-up and drop-off were very easy.

Avis claims to "feature a 100% smoke-free fleet" but they seem to have missed at least one vehicle. The smoke odor was terrible in our rental and made any car trip over our vacation week rather unpleasant.

I was not told that I could not pay for the rental on a debit card. This rental was to pick up my children in Atlanta. Dollar refused to allow the transaction to go through forcing me to rent at the last second from another vendor at a much higher price.

I reserved a car for next day online. I arrived at location and they told me a car was not available for rental. Sorry. I was stuck for 2 hours till I finally found another car rental at competitor. Never again rent at Herts.
