Interior car windows were dirty, and the car was in need of an oil change per the reminder light on the display reminded me. Additionally, the vehicle could benefit from a front-end alignment in my opinion.

I made reservations 4 months in advance for my rental car when I got off the plane and arrived at the Hertz counter I was told ..it wS credit card only...I did not have my credit card with me...they informed me they didn't take visa debt bank card in a panic I went to enterprise and they were happy to take my 1,900.00 from my debt card I would never recommend Hertz

Rental agent was efficient and courteous, we opted to return vehicle with a full tank of fuel but when we received it it was less than 3/4 full, we didn’t question it as we had already left facility.

Went to pick up and they said they couldn’t accept my CapitalOne MasterCard because it wasn’t the right type of credit card and they also couldn’t accept a different credit card because it had the word “debit” somewhere on it. Had to completely give up on my rental despite making it a month in advance and pay way more for a last minute rental at a different car rental agency at the airport (that weirdly had no problem with my credit card!). Also completely useless at helping me get a refund, still working on that! Will likely never rent from Hertz again.

It was a fine car. Location not convenient Man who checked me in was irritating and I was ignored when I brought the car back and thus, didn't get a proper check in or a receipt. It also appears that I was not refunded the"refundable deposit"

Flight was delayed 30 minutes, showed up at counter to find out they closed promptly at 7 pm, leaving several customers without a way to get a car. No associated desk to get my reserved car. Had to pay 50% more with Hertz just to get a car. Being an Emerald Club member didn’t help at all. Extremely disappointed!

The lady at the counter was extremely efficient. She upgraded me, which really helped because I had to pack in all my sons’ skis and snowboards. Over the week, I unfortunately developed double pneumonia. I had to extend my stay. She managed to do so for only $100 to get the weekly rate. I’m going to Alamo for my first choice. Anne Buchanan

After I reserved the rental with my debit card, I get to the location to pick the vehicle up and they state that I must have a credit card, not a debit card. I pay cash for everything, have never wanted nor needed a credit card just always use debit. With that being said, i was stuck 1300 miles from home with now way to rent a car to get home because I didnt have a credit card. I have rented vehicles on my debit card at least a dozen times with no issue. Also, with this location you cannot return the car to any other office besides this particular one. So long story short, 3 days later had to make a return trip 1300 miles to drop the car off.

I used MSN for the pick up location code when I booked the rental. When I got to the Madison airport, the AVIS desk, I was told that was for an AVIS location a mile away. The agent said I could pick it up at the airport, and not the location a mile away, but it would cost $130 more. It was just too much trouble to figure out how to get to the other location so I paid the extra $130. The car was fine, the agent was fine. I was very unhappy about the mix-up on where to pick up the car.
