6hr delay due to shortage of cars. The first car to be dropped back of was promised to be given to me since I was there the earliest but it was given to another customer who came after me.

There was an issue with our reservation that was handled in an awkward manner; just could have been handled/explained better. Admittedly I did not realize the reservation was made for an off-site property, but I also was not told that was the issue until the problem was moved to another representative.

Car was in terrible condition (cracked windshield, smoky smell inside, scratches on exterior, interior was dusty and dirty), no walkthrough with the agent to determine pre-existing damage—he just handed me the keys to a beat-up car. Agent overstated gas available at pickup (full when it was only 3/4 full), and vastly underestimated mileage at pickup (by 800 miles!). Upon return, the agent eyed me suspiciously when I said the A is agent had t competed a walkthrough and the damage was pre-existing. I showed him pics I took in the lot before driving away to prove that the damage was already there, but now I’m worried Avis will send me a fraudulent bill.

The clerk working the desk lacked friendliness. She was rude and borderlined being unprofessional at times. She also told me I'd receive a text and email about my rental; neither of which occurred.
