I called twice before our scheduled pick up day to inquire about the availability of a standard sized pick up truck and both times was told there would be one available. But on pick up day there was not. We had to rent a smaller truck. Additionally, the truck was suppose to be ready at 8:00 am but was not ready until 3:00pm. Thankfully Tahjay Louis salvaged the experience by providing professional and friendly transport to pick up the truck.

Kayak allowed me to book an enterprise rental at 12noon, which was Enterprise’s closing time in Framingham, MA. There was only tiny font in the email confirmation that provided the closing time, which I did not see. So I arrived just after 12noon and enterprise was closed. Please change that functionality on the reservation site - so clients have a larger window to pick up the reservation before closing time. Or make it very clear in big font of the closing time. I had to travel an extra 40 mins to another enterprise location at the airport with all my luggage and kids to get a new rental. The agent at Logan airport was excellent and found me a comparable vehicle at the same online price. But overall my experience was very poor. My weekend travel was significantly impacted and delayed by this problem that could have been avoided through a better website design.

Enterprise was awful. I’m not sure I’ll ever do business with them again. I made a reservation a month ahead of time, and they cancelled it at the last minute. Then they had the nerve to offer me a downgraded vehicle at 3 times the price. I think a lawyer in NY called this practice extortion. With my grandchildren arriving for the holidays, I needed a 7 passenger vehicle to retrieve them from the airport and drive them around. I rented a 3 row premium SUV. Enterprise said there were no vehicles available, but that if I wanted to downgrade to a minivan it would be 3x the price from an Enterprise location a few towns away. I called corporate Enterprise to see if they could intervene, and that was futile as well. My case has been escalated, and someone will get back to me, I think in the next year.

Car was on Empty when I got in, there was stuff left throughout the car by the previous renter, the inside of the windshield was so dirty it was dangerous and the rearview mirror had several very visible fingerprints on it. This car was obviously not clean at all.
