I live in the Seattle WA where I rented the car. Even though the staff at the local rental office were helpful overall the experience was a nightmare. The pickup location is listed as a street address but it is actually embedded in a multi level parking garage near the airport. It took about 20 minutes for a friend to drive me from my home to the pickup location and about another 30 minutes plus to try to determine where to pickup the car as I was extremely lost inside the parking garage. That being said both myself and my friend were beyond frustrated. I actually called the phone number on the rental confirmation telling them that I was hopelessly lost and disoriented in their parking garage asking for assistance and directions where to pickup the car. It was only at this time when the rental agent had asked me what city I was calling from that I quickly realized that I was speaking to someone somewhere else in the country and not to someone at the local rental office. That apparently did not happen as I was apparently transfer to someone in Oklahoma. After speaking with two different attendants,in the garage I finally located the rental office which was located on the top floor ( 5th floor ) of the garage which only seems to be accessible by a driveway ramp from the airport and accessible to airport shuttle buses only. UNFORTUNATELY THIS LOCATION SEEMS NOT TO BE ACCESSIBLE TO SOMEONE JUST WALKING OFF THE STREET TO RENT A CAR. Due to this seemingly inaccessibility I now am even confused how to return the vehicle whIch had cost me an additional 2 days of car rental, Saturday and Sunday ( which I did not use the car at all because I only needed the car to get to work Monday thru Friday) I initially rented the car for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday but extended the rental through the following Tuesday as my own personal car is being repaired and not available till then. Even though I did not need or use the car over the Saturday and Sunday I just extended the rental because it was much more less traumatic to do so rather than return the car as,originally intended and then come back the following Monday and rent another car for Monday and Tuesday exposing myself and my friend to this hellish experience all over again. In addition after I had picked up the rental car my friend who was driving his personal car ( 1 years old ) out of the garage was asked for the car rental agreement and when he told the attendant that it was his own personal car he was yelled at by the attendent why he had driven his personal car into the garage . This was all over the confusion how to access the rental location and the fact that at the entrance of the garage it is not posted," RENTAL CARS ONLY" IF KAYAK VALUES THERE RELATIONSHIP WITH PAYLESS CAR RENTAL I STRONGLY REQUEST THAT KAYAK REQUST PAYLESS CAR RENTAL TO CONTACT ME AND THAT KAYAK FOLLOW UP THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED. I AM ALSO REQUESTING THAT PAYLESS CAR RENTAL STRONGLY CONSIDER REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE 2 ADDITIONAL DAYS INCURRED [ SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ] THAT I HAD THE CAR BUT DID NOT NEED OR USE DUE TO THE HELLISH EXPERIENCE OF PICKING UP AND DROPPING OFF THE CAR.
