I have a MAJOR COMPLAINT. I booked a car through Kayak. I was given an INCORRECT PICKUP ADDRESS on both the website AND in a confirmation email. The incorrect address I was given was: St Peters Street Maidstone, ENG, United Kingdom ME16 0SN This is conveniently located near a train station, and that is a major reason I booked. But there is NO EUROPCAR at that address! Instead, upon turning up, and calling Europcar for help, I found out that the real address is: Units 4, 8 Union Park, Maidstone ME15 9XT This is MILES AWAY, and it required a half-hour taxi ride for me to get there. --- Now, there was a separate issue, that I accidentally made my booking for the wrong date! I intended Tue 12 Nov, but accidentally booked Tue 19 Nov. I did not notice this mistake until after I had made the inconvenient, expensive journey from the incorrect address I was given to the correct address. Europcar there were able to help me with a new booking, and I cancelled the old. Notwithstanding the above, I would like to know how you will remedy the problem of the incorrect address shown on Kayak and in confirmation emails, and compensate me for inconvenience that caused.
