I was in the middle of a natural disaster and didn’t receive a refund. Hertz was awful and Kayak.com is awful. Really disappointing given the circumstances with the fires in Maui.

We reserved a dodge caravan, and we’re expecting something a little newer. We understand that it is difficult to get new vehicles for rentals, but this van seemed quite worn. Maybe it’s because of being so close to the ocean. It was adequate for our needs. The staff were extremely responsive and helpful…top notch. Drop off was quick and easy.

Not being familiar with Maui, I didn't realize there was more than one Hertz location in Kahului so it would have been helpful for that to be more apparent when booking. The agent at the airport Hertz was VERY RUDE when I showed up there. The agent at the hotel where the car was located, was WONDERFUL and I would book again based on his customer service.
