I went to pick up the car and they said there was no car available. I drive from out of town. They said because I had more than one phone number listed they did not even try to call. Poor service.

they called me to tell me they didn't have any cars available
The reservation was booked online and a confirmation number was provided. Upon arrival at Avis there were no vehicles available. This left me completely without a vehicle. This is absolutely unacceptable! The business model needs a serious review on how reservations are handled!!! I learned my lesson to never book with Avis!

No problems at all , at pick up . But a few into our trip the maintenance required notification came on , the worse thing is that the type of car we got had the normal head lights to high and other drivers would flash at us probably thinking we had high beam lights on , it became a little dangerous in a two way freeway ,big trucks turn there high beam lights probably thinking we were doing it on porpoise ( Toyota Highlander)

Prices were high this weekend as there was an event nearby. I dont think I will choose a small car again. I will choose an intermediate.
It seemed like (in a slightly complaining manner) that they were short of hired help and the wait was excessive to be helped BUT I know that is an issue everywhere and not just affecting budget! I am aware of that issue so I was cool with it!

The pick up process was a little slow but only because only the manager was there. Otherwise, great service overall and the car was VERY clean.
Pickup location had closed for business and it was less than 24 hours before I was notified. Originally they wanted me to pick up vehicle on the other side of town. Finally had to get car at airport
