Long wait time to check car out. Otherwise, good service

Auckland airport is in renovation and you have to walk from car return area to terminal about 1/4 mile. My wife has bad ankle so not ideal return experience.

Everything was good with the car. We had extra charges that were billed after we returned the car. They called our pre paid rental through kayak (pre paid token) apparently it was not including other fees. So be vary when it is advertised total price.

Originally we hired a Tesla, I recieved a call a few weeks out and was advised that their shipment of Tesla's wasn't coming so instead I would be getting a Toyota Corrola or similar. I asked if there was a better option for the same price as in terms of comfort and style, the Corolla wasn't quite at the same level as a Tesla. I was told "no" that was my only option. In the end, we were given a KIA Cerento Hatch, which is worse than a Corolla in terms of style if toy ask me. Practical, but small, for 4 people with luggage, will not be doing that again.

Antonio, when I picked up my car noticed my return location was not correct and he made an adjustment. I would not have noticed that. I am very grateful that he did that. Thank you.

Easy access nice sales associate

Pick up wasn’t very smooth, had to wait longer than expected.

The car booked wasn’t available they didn’t upgrade my can or give me any car Instead . the Agent’s were helpless, careless and so ignorant with me .

Good experience, everything was handled efficiently and on time The shuttle was ready to pick up to and from airport. The car we got was very basic so at times it struggled to drive uphill but we made it.

The overall was experience was terrible. The price quoted for the rental was correct. They quoted me $16.88/ per day for insurance but charged me more than $70.00/ day. The contract is all in Spanish, so it is hard to determine what the charge is. I found out when I check my card statement. I immediately went to the office in Merida to resolve it but was told they (1) did not understand English well enough, and (2) they could not do anything about it. The car was high milage, the sides and rear of the car were scratched, the interior seating was badly stained and dirty. they said they had no better vehicle available. I will not do business with Payless ever again. I also question the value of using Kayak in the future. Note, I insure to two late model vehicles for about the same amount over 6 month period then they charged for 15 days. This should be a crime.

They gave me the wrong car said it was a 4 by4 and over charged and I had to argue and prove from Jeep dealer it wasnt to get a charge.

if you prepay you cant change pickup or drop off location

The Hertz representative was extremely friendly, super patient and did a great job helping me change my reservations. Otherwise, the office was barebone if you care about that kind of thing, and you do have to walk a long way to get your car.

The car was not available and Thrifty couldn't tell me when I would get my car. Very unprofessional staff at the counter. Couldn't have cared less.

Easy pick up, super easy drop off, good location. Nice employees

I don’t like the idea that I was not given the category of vehicle I was charged for. Can I have my refund?
