Needed to upgrade car to all wheel drive with snow tires due to expected snow storm. Call location in Idaho Falls but ended up in call center in California. Agent said he couldn’t handle and to call the Idaho Falls location, the same number and same options that had ended up with him. I pointed out the idiocy of this, because he was incapable of handling. I asked for a manager and for a direct line to Idaho Falls Enterprise. She gave me a number and when I tried it, it was the Idaho Falls Airport Authority. So I tried again the Idaho Falls Enterprise number and this time ended up in Atlanta. This agent said pretty much the same thing, and I asked why he couldn’t handle the upgrade from Atlanta. He finally did so assuring me, it would be a Nissan Rouge with snow tires. So, I arrive in Idaho Falls, and there is a long slow line. When it’s finally my turn, I have to wait because Enterprise has to get a vehicle from National for me—a Jeep. While this is a change, it’s fine. However, it does not have snow tires, because Enterprise does not rent any vehicles with snow tires. It was $104 for less than 1 day. Given my experience with Enterprise’s customer service and bad information and a vehicle without the promised snow tires, I will likely not deal with Enterprise again.
