Everything was good with the car. We had extra charges that were billed after we returned the car. They called our pre paid rental through kayak (pre paid token) apparently it was not including other fees. So be vary when it is advertised total price.

Originally we hired a Tesla, I recieved a call a few weeks out and was advised that their shipment of Tesla's wasn't coming so instead I would be getting a Toyota Corrola or similar. I asked if there was a better option for the same price as in terms of comfort and style, the Corolla wasn't quite at the same level as a Tesla. I was told "no" that was my only option. In the end, we were given a KIA Cerento Hatch, which is worse than a Corolla in terms of style if toy ask me. Practical, but small, for 4 people with luggage, will not be doing that again.

Antonio, when I picked up my car noticed my return location was not correct and he made an adjustment. I would not have noticed that. I am very grateful that he did that. Thank you.

Good experience, everything was handled efficiently and on time The shuttle was ready to pick up to and from airport. The car we got was very basic so at times it struggled to drive uphill but we made it.

The overall was experience was terrible. The price quoted for the rental was correct. They quoted me $16.88/ per day for insurance but charged me more than $70.00/ day. The contract is all in Spanish, so it is hard to determine what the charge is. I found out when I check my card statement. I immediately went to the office in Merida to resolve it but was told they (1) did not understand English well enough, and (2) they could not do anything about it. The car was high milage, the sides and rear of the car were scratched, the interior seating was badly stained and dirty. they said they had no better vehicle available. I will not do business with Payless ever again. I also question the value of using Kayak in the future. Note, I insure to two late model vehicles for about the same amount over 6 month period then they charged for 15 days. This should be a crime.

The price is very good but it takes a long time to deliver the car

On the whole, it was a negative experience. The fuel tank wasn't full, the place was understaffed, and so check-in took a long time. Drop off was chaotic and the car needed maintenance. On the other hand, the shuttle service to the Newark Airport was good, but the drop off/pick up location is with the hotels, not where the other rental cars are located. Also, ACE subcontracts with Drivo, so clients are subjected to Drivo policies and rules.

Very friendly, efficient and accommodating. The van we were supposed to take had a slight problem with one sliding door. They immediately set us up with another in a matter of minutes and we were on our way. The vehicle was clean, ran great and suited our needs. We would definitely rent from them again.

Everything was great, except knowing where to go after landing. I had to call to find out and it took a little while.

When I made the rental online from Kayak, my receipt clearly stated that the total charges for the rental would be ~$600CAD and I had also purchased insurance through Allianz for an additional $75. When I went to pick up the rental I was charged an additional $506.00USD in other fees and more insurance (apparently the insurance that was rented through Kayak was not comprehensive as stated on the website.) I was informed that I would be reimbursed $200USD when the rental car was returned. To my dismay, when I returned the rental I was charged AGAIN an additonal $506USD plus another $100USD “cleaning fee”. Completely unsatisfied and I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute these repeat charges.

I specifically told the agent no CDW insurance. He added it so my $219 price you gave me was $545. Didn’t notice until the next day. You can’t call them and you can’t fix it. $10.55 per gallon if you don’t have time to put gas in the car. I feel totally taken. I looked at reviews and I am one of many - the overcharges seem pretty much how they do business. I will never rent from Thrifty again, ever.

Dollar failed to honor my reservation. I was yelled at by the two men at the Dollar desk for showing them my reservation. They told me they didn't have a car reserved for me and ordered me to leave. I have been traveling for business for the past 14 years and I have never been treated so poorly and with such contempt as I was by the two men working for Dollar. I will never use Kayak or Dollar again.

Car wasn’t super clean- which is fine we have definitely rented worse. Clerk wasn’t happy that we booked 3rd party and discussed how it impact their job to make it harder by having to enter information provided by renter- then Tried to add on 1200 worth of insurance- wasn’t happy when I declined and argued about it. Girl that was there when we returned was very monotone and irritated with myself and previous customer

TPA has a train from the car rental area to the terminal but Easirent is off property so you need to take a shuttle to/from the train stop. The check in was slow. Two people working for a crowded waiting area. The car needed a wash but more importantly it smelled like a mix of pee and smoke. It only had ~8k miles so it wasn’t old but it smelled. The price was right but I wouldn’t rent from them again.

Their support is non-existent. Just pay the little extra to go with a bigger brand and avoid this one.

Easirent was not at airport. It’s halfway across Austin. I abandoned the car pickup and got an UBER to our airBnB instead. When I went to pick up the car later on my second Uber I found it in an industrial park area, which wasn’t terribly concerning, but it had a couple red flags. Just not a place I would want to bring my family. Finally when I arrived the scene was utter chaos. I saw an employee walking around looking for a car clicking the key unlock to locate it while dozens of customers looked destitute and as frustrated as I was with the experience of not finding their car at the airport. As I walked inside I found a waiting area full of crying children and families waiting for cars and a line of the drivers about 8 deep with no one at the counter answering questions. It was then that the same employee from the parking lot walked back in and stepped behind the desk to continue what sounded like a frustrated conversation of a desperate customer to just take the quickest option to get a car and leave. After trying to ask the sole employee what the odds of getting my car in the next hour or two was I decided that I wasn’t prepared to do business with this company and ordered my return Uber to the airBnB and ordered a Turo car for the rest of our visit with a brilliant experience. Hugely disappointing overall. Would not recommend. Please avoid. I haven’t chased down the couple hundred of dollars that we lost on the reservation and not getting a car yet, but I’m not holding my breath.
