No phone number available to call for pick up and was very late/early AM and elderly mom was outside nearly 45 minutes waiting for shuttle driver. Once picked up, everything was excellent

More people working the desk to speed up check in and drop off.

Shuttle driver was helpful in Miami.

Although we reached out during their normal business hours, we were never able to pick up the car, because we weren’t able to contact them to get the shuttle to the location. We finally got in contact with someone who told us she would call us back with an update on when to expect the shuttle, but she never called us back.

The car made an insane vibrating bass sound that people could hear from outside, it sounded like there was some black market subwoofer in there. I rented this car to attend my grandfathers FUNERAL. I’m in the procession sounding like I’m blasting bass filled music! I tried to call them to be like what on earth and they never answered. When I returned the vehicle and reported the noise to them they were like “oh yeah we know about that, this type of car is probably going to get recalled because they all make that noise.” Seems like something one would mention BEFORE. Also took like 45 minutes to get the car because they had one person at the desk and the people in front of us didn’t have a shred of the details they needed so there was just a line forming behind them. Also the car was overdue for an oil change by THREE THOUSAND miles and the car kept sending an alert about how the oil life was at 0%. When I told them this when dropping off the car they were just like “oh yeah we know”

They said pickup was at the airport. It is not. You have to walk 1/3 mile with your luggage to take a shuttle to their place which is 15 minutes away. I waited thirty minutes for the shuttle and finally gave up and rented from another company.

They were not at the central Houston (IAH) rental car area. They would not come pick us up at the airport before we sent them A LOT of information that is normally asked for when you check in to pick up a rental car. They said that we should call their driver to come pick us up. They made it very difficult to rent the car--so much so that we abandoned the rental and went over to another company on the spot. TOO MANY RED FLAGS. Will never, ever rent from them again. And you shouldn't either.

Great fast experience

The next bus shuttle was in an accident with us in it on the way to the rental company and they were not apologetic for us having been in there accident. Then the rental car was very very damaged. They also required a $1468. Insurance premium on top of the rental fee even though what my credit card insurance would cover it. This fee was not disclosed at time of booking.

only thing they could have done better, was to explain the basic operation of the veh. It took me almost 5 minutes to figure out that the unit has no key. I could not turn the veh off. It uses a push button, which is not easly seen.

Hertz staff were very professional and friendly. Made for a pleasant experience.

Hertz was great, they had to explain to me that the image kayak advertised for the rental is not actually what you get. Kayak should be more honest and include images that are more honest about what customers are renting.

Better communication. I didn't have to bring back the track so early

Let me reserve a car but they didn't have any. Got there and waited 20 minutes for them to tell me they won't get cars

Picking up the car was seamless, quick and they had what I reserved.
