Gas tank was empty when we picked up car. Told attendant and he replied “gas station is near, no problem”. Told him this is unexceptable he said “no problem”. Just bring it back empty. I said d how can we bring it back empty?? We ran out of gas approx 100 yds from gas station!! After getting gas noticed that “low tire pressure” light was on. They had not checked tire pressure when we picked up car!! Brought back car with almost 1/2 tank gas. Asked for credit and attendant said that is not possible. He said they never fill up tank before rental because they were getting cheated by other customers who would bring back cars with less gas than they started!! What kind of bullshit is this? What kind of car rental is this? Very upset with this transaction!

The staff at the Dollar location in Queen Alia Airport (Amman - Jordan) are very unprofessional. They will find any way to charge you extra money for your rental. They lie to their teeth about the condition of the car when you return it so they can charge you extra money. Avoid this place at all costs. If you really have to book a car from this place, make sure to take so many pictures of the car before you pick it up and document all scratches, otherwise, they will find the smallest old scratch and charge for it.

The staff at Sixt were extremely friendly and helpful. The car itself was clean and well-maintained. However the online interface was frustrating and was not working to do things like change my reservation when it claimed to have that capacity. I would be hesitant to book with Sixt again until that interface improves.

Do not consider this company! It’s a bunch of thugs who run a scam! Even though I had a confirmed reservation, once I arrived at the pick up location, the agent informed me that he has no available cars and that the website is not working properly! I went to a different location and upon entering the office, the two agents were actively smoking and said they have no cars available, even though there were available cars visible outside!

The car we booked wasn’t available so we had to pay extra to get a bigger car. If it had been a free upgrade then I would have been happy with that but the fact we had to pay for it wasn’t acceptable.

When returning the car, the guy at the desk was extremely rude and unpleasant and he forced us to pay another day just because we returned the car after 10 days slightly later (according to the returning flight), including the insurance. The petrol was not full (as it should be) when taking the car, just 1/4 , we returned with plus minus 1/4 too and again he way telling us that we have slightly less petrol. So stupid - only full to full works, how otherwise one can exactly estimate the petrol tank content for arrival. Very unpleasant experience overall. Never more Europcar in Amman

The car in better condition as the horn wasn’t working plus tire pressure problems Delivery was not ready at time of pick up as there was no communication between head office and branch at the hotel On the positive side, the hotel agent was friendly and accommodating

Hi, When i arrived at airport the reserved car was not available, they gave me a car with mechanical problems and wouldn't start, i had children with me, later i went to avis other office and they offered a van with manual transmission not automatic as my reservation, they didn't even give a discount or less rate, the van had 2 punctured tyres that i repaired on my expense Really one of worst experiences ever Regards Issam Qattash

Poor customer service , the car broke down I had to call them maybe 40 times on all the phone numbers they provided but no answer. I had my kids with me in a very cold place with no heat in the car it was by far the worst experience ever. Finally I had to call budget they answered within 20 seconds or less and I begged the guy to go to Avis and have them call me or at least pick up the phone . And they did. It took them 15 hours to bring the car to me. I’ll never ever use this company again.

Process of taking the car when I arrived to the airport was very quick. The process of returning the car was also as quick and seamless. Prices was as booked online and employees are professional and supportive

Be careful, scam company. They're very pathetic and scammers. We took this car, since it was cheapest but while returning the car, for a 1cm damage they charged us 352$, which is more than the amount we paid to rent the car (283$) 12 days. Never ever take their car. They were all good and well behaved until you take their car, once you take they'll scam like anything while you return. They're totally misusing the credit car authorization policy to safeguard the car. They'll not argue or fight with you, they'll just send you away and later deduct the amount as per their wish. This is pretty much same kind of review, many people have written.
