Excellent location and food. Staff was perhaps the best I have ever encountered. They were always available to help and assist.
There is no elevator but I was assured that planning permission had been granted and it was coming. Shower on 5th floor was erratic in terms of temperature. Would definitely stay here again.
Very friendly staff Only thing that bothered me was the noise from the door of the corridor - as my room (8) was next to it.

We loved everything, especially the spacious room, the wonderful staff and the amazing view! The hotel was closed to the "Castelo de São Jorge" and Alfama where we enjoyed listen to Fado.

The beautiful room had an incredible view over the city. But what really made the difference was the staff. I have never stopped in a hotel where every member of staff was so dedicated to giving great service.
Location is central, and the hosts Rio and his dayshift counterpart were extremely accommodating, very welcoming, and made sure we were comfortable. Would highly recommend staying here. They have a nice buffett style breakfast as well as a dining area at la tarrece.
Hotel was in a good location and staff were very friendly and helpful, couldn't fault the staff.
The hotel and room furniture and fittings were very low budget, but at a very high cost, I didn't feel the photos resembled the room at all at €414 for 2 nights (2 people) in Mid September, and certainly didn't resemble the 9.3 score on booking.com We spent 3 nights in Porto & 2 nights in Aveiro and spent less on those hotels which were far superior to this one.
