The hotel was located inside the park, and right next to the zoo, which made it very quiet, definitely very beautiful in the spring summer months, and made it unique, one of the reasons why I selected it. It seemed that the hotel has just opened after vacation, or was only partially open. The staff did not seem to know each other or their tasks, there was painters walking around the hotel, walking into the pool area etc. There seemed to have been a reduced staff also, who were not able to help us with some requests which seem relatively easy. There was an excellent choice at the breakfast bar.The location is very quiet, a little away from the the city centre, which was what we wanted. The staff were extremely helpful.
My stay at this hotel was very frustrating. The first room I was given was extremely dirty, old, and badly maintained. I had to wait over an hour and move rooms twice before a clean one was finally found. During that time, I wasn’t even offered a complimentary coffee or water. The room was not properly cleaned!
The location of the hotel is great - right next to a beer garden/park. The food & drinks in the garden were just great and keenly priced, also a restaurant there that you could book in advance for breakfast/brunch. We had a room overlooking the zoo which was lovely. Bed was super comfy.
Overpriced for the room - it wasn't super luxurious and my husband stays in Berlin for work and was disappointed with the value for money. We opted out of breakfast due to the price and had some great experiences outside the hotel. Also we had to ask 3 times for the coffee machine to be mended/replaced - it didn't work dispensing warm rather than hot water.

The staff are excellent. From reservations and concierge to bar & restaurant staff - all so welcoming, efficient and professional. Top class service. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are amazing, the food was delicious.

This was a really lovely hotel in a quiet leafy suburb of Berlin, the facilities are modern and classy, a lot of thought into the design and look of the whole place, which works. The coffee/tea machine was very basic and with a large fridge in the room it is disappointing that no fresh milk was available. For the nightly cost the room was a bit small.Read more
