I didn't have breakfast. The location was perfect! I was able to walk to the Juneteenth Festival. After the festival I was able to walk with my friends to a restaurant for a birthday celebration!! Afterwards we were able to walk back to the hotel.

Love the ambiance of the property.
The beds were a little mushy
The breakfast was good. The lounging area downstairs was amazing with the old furniture, books, and art. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating to our needs.

My mattress was much too soft. I’m pretty sure my memory foam mattress had lost its memory a while ago.
I’d forgotten how beautiful the hotel was. The attention to detail both in the rooms and in the public areas is remarkable.
I think you should remove the clause on your website about the Afternoon Tea as it is not provided. Bought cookies do not an Afternoon Tea make and you can’t have Tea without boiling water. I would suggest that you simply offer tea and sherry service in your lobby daily (as long as you boil the water).

Bathroom fixtures like the sink, fan, shower head, lighting could use an update.
Super safe neighbourhood. And easy walk to cable cars and other public transport. The property also offer a town car at 3 separate times of the morning. The staff are welcoming, helpful.
The mattress was a bit soft for my preference
Nothing very dirty, cupboard and drawers broken in the room. Carpet horrible and very dirty smelly room.
Broken drawers, sofa come bed was shabby and springs broken.
