I have previously stayed at the Ibis Hotel, when I checked in I never paid tax, my payment when booking online was all, why did I pay tax this time when I checked in, that's what makes me not like it and feel like I've been cheated

Location, facilities, friendliness
Very clean & great location
nice wifi, nice location.
rooms are so small without mini bar/fridge. rooms are little bit dirty.
Very nice staff, precise, they helped us with the baggage and also bus transfer infos. Very nice consierge. Nice position of the hotel, very clean room and ambient in general, spacious. We appreciated the luggage weight machine at the entrance!
The breakfast has a great selection for the price. Lots of varities, more than one kind of vegetal milk, fresh vegetables and fruits. My personal favorite was the loose leaf tea, amazing brand a great selection.
I got the room witht the view from the tower, when we arrived in our room unfortunately we could only see part of it. Some of the staff were not friendly.
The support to coordinate a little surprise for my mom's birthday was great. I was expecting a little bit better decoration details (not in objects) but in creativity. For the price I had paid for it, things were just OK and ordinary. Sometimes people can do better in creativity with less.
View of Eiffel Tower from room. Location - could walk to to the tower etc. Would probably stay again - other than the ridiculous bathroom all was good.
The worlds smallest "bathroom". Breakfast was very busy, but I suppose that's to be expected in August in Paris.
Great location Easy access from the airport CDG with RER and subway Restaurant close by
Iron in room
Closely situated to the Eiffel Tower and the amenities around reception were nice. Local transportation links were good.
Our own fault but was a bit of a journey to the areas we wanted to explore. We booked this location as wanted a view of the Eiffel Tower and although it does, it’s limited. Rooms were basic, which for us was ok, as we only used the room as a base
