Once again, an excellent stay at the Generator . I come here quite regularly whenever in the immediate vicinity. Very comfortable, clean hostel with very good facilities in the heart of London whilst still nestling in a fairly quiet residential area. The location is good. The room and beds are fine. We also got a free pizza in the wheel of prizes. We were lucky as our room was very calm and clean.
There is no free breakfast and the shower room is not very clean. Very typical in a hostel to be honest!
The location is convenient, nearby Train stations to transfer from/to the airport, walking tot the city centre or two underground stations nearby (5-10min walking).
For a Generator Hostel, the overall quality and cleanliness of the building was poor. In addition, several staff members were not friendly nor very helpful. First time ever happened at a Generator Hostel (and I have stayed for years in several countries).b

Privacy in dormroon bunk bed, staff was nice, bathroom was clean, good food. A lot of space for luggage in the lockers
The room smelled freshly cleaned, as did the sheets. The bedding was comfortable.
Everything in this hotel needs a maintenance update. The plaster in the room was falling off, grouting of the tiles was completely discolored, the lid of the toilet seat was broken, there were stains on the wall and floor. All things you don't fix by only cleaning.
