location, great staff, access to fellow travelers , fun bar with fantastic view of hagia sofia , friday family night, good breakfast
room could be appointed a bit better, ie a tv or a chair
I absolutely loved my stay the staff were so friendly, funny and hospitable. The breakfast was delicious and so value for money. Beds were comfortable and bathroom super clean. Location was perfect, right next to all the main attractions. Cannot fault my stay, would love to go back.

Honestly as far as hostels go this one felt incredibly safe and so open and friendly to solo travelers. Breakfast had great vibes and rooms were clean!
The bathroom closest to the bar upstairs was understandably the most used but could use a little love! It was the night after a live music thing though so don’t judge the hostel based on this one time thing. In general the bathrooms were clean!
Cheers hostel is a fantastic place to stay and a wonderful jumping off point for all of your Istanbul adventures. The staff is so kind and helpful and gave amazing recommendations. Great location, good vibe and breakfast solid. Vibe at the bar always fun. Staff great once they warm up to you.
They could do more to keep the bathrooms clean, especially given that a lot of the public use it given that it’s also a bar plus coffee shop.
The whole vibe was just so welcoming and homely. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms and amenities. The breakfast was also a great variety and well prepared.

Clean rooms. Reasonably clean bathrooms. Great rooftop bar, very social, met lots of great people. Aircon worked nicely. Free breakfast was alright.
Could be curtains on the beds. Some of the bathrooms had no soap. It felt like it could do with a makeover - the bedroom floor was particularly squeaky which meant people coming to the hostel when you were asleep woke you up, even if they were silent.
Staff extremely nice and helpful. Good atmosphere and ideal location. Super good quality-price value for money. Super recommended. Individual rooms are good, maybe missing a bit of light but not a big deal.
