nothing was explained to me , i waited an hour to get my car we did not walk around the car i had no clue how to work this car , there were strachs on the car , and they didnt tell me the drop off was worse , you just drop off the car and there is no one to help us , you just leave the keys in the car so in personal

I pre booked my car but upon arrival the Credit card machine wouldn’t read my card for the deposit. The person at the desk wasn’t willing to be helpful. So I went to Avis and rented because that person was able to be helpful.

not great. We rented an electric small SUV that they gave to us not charged. They were unable to help us when we realized after driving 10 miles that the car battery was going to die. We went to the only gas stations with chargers and we happened to be at the only WaWa in the area that didn't have a charger. So we drove back to the airport with the charge so low it just said "Low" and didn't give mileage anymore, then had to pay the difference for a new car. The worst part was we were there to see family in the hospital and had a limited amount of time and missed visiting hours that day because we were dealing with the hertz mess. After my sister complained to the counter person she offered no apology and gave me some certificate for 40$ toward my next rental car with Hertz. Not gonna happen.

Pick up was all about upspending. Not comfortable Drop off in Punta Gorda was very unprofessional. Poor signage no worker dark unsafe and keydrop was as you left the lot. Should have been near cars as we had to go back and get keys

The key pick was a little confusing. The parking garage office said platinum members go inside, when I asked a Hertz employee where I get my keys she told me I had to go inside. After waiting 15 minutes, I was told the keys were in the vehicle.

First, the rental was not ready, we had to wait about an hour to get a car. Second, they overcharged for an extra day after we dropped off the car in time. Although the time they entered as starting time was not the time we left with the rental. They stamped the time at 11:47pm but didn’t get the car until pass 12:30 am. So we had to go the office to get the 2nd day charge removed. Third, they now said the is a crack in the windshield, after 48 hours that we return the car.

Service desk and drop off were not helpful and really didn’t care about anything but selling you insurance when you pick up the vehicle. Also they didn’t have the vehicle I ordered and told me I would have to wait around 40 min to an hour and that was only if they could find one. The vehicle I got was nice but didn’t fit our stuff causing us to take two cars instead of one

Pick up was horrendous,, total chaos waited over 2 hours to be told I’d get a vehicle but not what we hired , this happened to all people waiting.. We actually got a similar car to the one booked so we thought we were luckier than others . Car was filthy dirty no option to sort we had to leave it’s now 4 am , we hadn’t left car park and clearly the vehicle with 42,000 miles had multiple faults and should have been in for repairs not out on hire …

Checkin took nearly an hour. There were 3 or 4 agents working and 4 guys standing around watching. Not sure why it takes so long, there were lots of cars in the lot. Granted that things were busy since the Ft Lauderdale airport was closed, but why does it have to be so slow?

Pick up was extremely disorganized. The Tampa Airport staff needs additional training. But the cost of the rental itself was on the lower end, so that was a positive.

We had booked a van online at Tampa international airport and when we got there we were told we didn’t but they said u must have been re-routed to a Avis agent half hour north of airport- this was terrible- then we were told we could not return it at Tampa and had to bring it back the agent or we would be charged - terrible - we should be partially compensated for out trouble Darren

They were 60 minutes late picking us up they forced us to use their insurance. If we didn’t they were going to charge us $2000 for a deposit to use our own. The car was in horrible condition needed maintenance. The worker was not clean and smelled like body odor. this was a total scam and very unprofessional. Worst Clark experience ever.

After I reserved the rental car, I received an email from RENTALCARS.COM. I was not happy to discover that I wasn't renting from Green Motion, but instead RENTALCARS.COM who operates out of England. The re-direct was one thing, but then I read the fine print. RENTALCARS.COM required a $2,000 security deposit on the rental. I never would have reserved the car, had I known this up front. I immediately called customer service in England and canceled the reservation. I also told them to reverse the charge immediately. The representative said I would see a credit in 7-10 business days. I informed them that if the charge wasn't reversed right away, I would dispute the charge with my bank. The charge was reversed in a couple of days, without going through the dispute process. I ultimately rented a car thru Dollar.

Please be alert that customers must provide records of their own insurance (CDW, TP, & liability) at time of check in or else they are obligated to purchase the complete auto insurance from Green Motion. Green Motion places a $2000 charge on your credit card pending you return the auto without damage. The car rental counter is not located in the TPA Car Rental Center and upon arrival there you are required to phone Green Motion for a pickup.
