I had made my reservation ahead of time before my travel date through Kayak. I also called Avis's rental office to verify my reservation and all and they confirmed everything. On the day of my travel, I get there early in the morning to try to get on the road as soon as possible and the travel agent named Jim asked me for a corporate code in order for him to continue with my reservation. I asked, do you mean my reservation number, and he said, no, I need the discount code used for corporate members to get the rental price that you got. And I was like, what discount code are you talking about? I made the reservation through Kayak and in the reservation details, there was no corporate rate/discount shown. Well, for the love of me, I could not get him to understand I didn't have that discount code he was asking for and I needed a car because it had been 30plus minutes I had already wasted of my traveling time. He ended up, giving me a higher rental than what I had originally booked. I told him it was his word against Kayak's. I was beyond mad and felt so bad I am never going through Avis ever again.

I reserved a pickup truck as I needed the ground clearance to visit oil and gas worksites. This was essential to my rental. Avis called to tell me that the pickup that I had reserved was not available.
This particular look cation is great. The only issue I have is with kayak.com. It was $6 cheaper to rent directly from budget and the car was bigger. Kayak doesn’t classify the cars the same way budget does. For the price I paid with kayak for a keep compass, I would have been in the next larger class if I had rented directly from the budget location. I will not use kayak again. I will always use budget from now on.

The vehicle was clean and in good running order. However, the ‘oil Mx’ warning was on the entire trip. Too, the two left tires required service.
They didn't have my vehicle ready at my scheduled pick-up time and I was told I may not receive the type of vehicle I had booked months in advance. They did end up getting it but it was over an hour past when I needed it.

All was great....car was upgrade which I liked an d everything was smooth. I am apparently being charged for a toll which I have never seen before and I was not in any new areas....anyway all was good.

First time I Rented car from OKC thru kayak representing Hertz, expecting to pick up cat at OKC airport . 4:15 pm, arrived at OKC airport Hertz. Agent said my rental pick up address was 24 minutes away in North OK. At Same time, Agent made public announcement to 29 people in line that “there were no more Hertz rental cars at OKC airport, or anywhere in Oklahoma. Persons with reservations will be processed but could wait 2-4 hours until return cars arrived at airport”. I called my north location and was told 1 car waiting for me if I Taxi’d there before closing at 6 pm. Arrived and received dirty rental. Taxi fee $65.00. Only positive is Hertz allowed me to return rental at airport 3 days later instead of 24 miles away. Will evaluate using Kayak and Hertz in the future. Interred in the other 28 renters comments.

When I rented the vehicle I put down to pick up and drop off at the airport. When I got there I was told that it was at the other store about 15 miles away. When I asked about a cab they told me that they were already closed and she didn’t have any other cars. Got to get one from another company but the first one was already paid for. I guess I need to make some calls now. Not sure who’s fault it was but not happy.
