I got totally swindled. I paid 27 up front for the car through kayak, when I got there I HAD to pay another 200 dollars for “mandatory insurance” and leave a 1500 dollar hold on my credit card as a deposit. The car was mostly kind of messed up, bolts fell off the license plates so they were dangling, the interior wasn’t very clean, and I just got a sense they were trying to steal money from me the whole time. Never again

so unhelpful. i called the help desk and the girl was unable to apparently see any thing about any reservations. she also responded so slowly and confused i was (unfortunately) genuinely wondering if she was high. anyways. never going to rent here again. they say “$30 for three days!” just to tack on like 20 hidden fees (exaggeration but you get the point) when you get to the counter, so you might as well just rent with someone else at that point. this place was terrible.

We booked our reservation through Kayak. There were no instructions on how to get to the rental. The address was wrong and traveling with two infants and no instructions/address made the start to the trip awful. As soon as I finally arrived, there was no one at the front desk for 15minutes (the door was unlocked). I tried reaching a virtual agent and it rang 2 times (long ringing) and still no answer. When the lady finally went back to the front, she was rude. Didn’t help the situation. Returning the car- the checkout was smooth but as soon as you walk back to the office, there was a very long line and I had to interrupt front desk person since I didn’t think I had to wait in line (he confined, he took the keys and I left)
