I was trying to rent a 4 wheel drive SUV in such snowy time but they only gave me front wheel drive one. I ended up getting stuck in the snow and paying $250 for towing fee. It is quite a disappointment that a customer couldn’t get what he was looking for.

Renting a vehicle for summer trip out of Boston (or anywhere!) was much more challenging than ever due to (almost post) COVID and the shortage with high gas prices. Everyone I interacted with through National acted as if the knew me and actually cared that we got what we needed (minivan for 6 + luggage), we’re super helpful with delayed pick up due to Hurricane Elsa blowing through, and even made sure we secured a safe Uber to get everyone (+ more luggage!) back to the airport as stress free as possible. What potentially could have been the most challenging part of our trip was a delight!
