Okay|Aug 2023Due to logistics mismanagement, we were given an 'upgrade' to a GIANT SUV (we'd reserved a mid size) - it was that or a compact car (which we couldn't fit all of us & our bags into). The SUV we got had damage to it - we were walked through as quickly as possible and got no paperwork for it. Just an email confirmation - not sure what good that would have done if we were stopped or in an accident, which thankfully we were not. The SUV itself was a gas guzzler - the 'upgrade' cost us more in fuel that we planned on spending (about $100 to fill it - YIKES!) and was a bear to park and drive (unwieldy, too large to exit the vehicle clearly in most parking spaces unless we parked in the back 40 of a lot (which we had to do to enter/exit). The staff on pickup were polite. And three days later, no receipt for final return (return was after hours because it was 9-5 in a strip mall). Not sure I'd use Enterprise again and I'd definitely speak up about so-called upgrades!

Mediocre|Jul 2023Check in was like going through a timeshare sales pitch, attendant didn’t know her cars and her prices for the “deals” she was offering I don’t think she knew what they were she was making stuff up. She originally said we will get a Jeep Compass but offered us “for $20 instead of $60 today ONLY we could upgrade to a Jeep Cherokee” we declined on the first offer and the ones following it and were then handed a Hyundai that couldn’t even fit our luggage which is why we picked an SUV in the first place. After arguing we were told we are getting a Jeep compass, the agent who was giving out keys said we would need to pay another $100 a day for the upgrade to a compass, real hagglers. Eventually they got tired of my husband’s arguing they let us take the compass. The car was very uncomfortable but that isn’t the agency’s fault and the car was clean. Upon return the attendant was super quick which was nice, but a bit short tempered, however I probably would be too, working outdoors in 109 degrees. The experience wasn’t terrible but felt like a sales pitch they kept trying to upgrade us and get us to spend more money, and also it is said to be in the “airport” it is NOT, you will need to schlep your luggage onto one shuttle to one location then switch to a different shuttle, so you’ll be taking 2 shuttles to and from this rental location FYI.

Poor|May 2023We reserved a premium SUV for our planned road trip as we needed enough space for a family of 8. As we arrived to the Enterprise location, we were told they had no premium SUVs available. They kept trying to give us a minivan instead despite us telling them there were 8 of us, and the minivan only fit 7 people. Then they told us they were no other locations that had a premium SUV available, except for the airport Enterprise, but we had to have a reservation with them specifically as they have a "different system". They told us to just "go there" as they have a "lot of cars" and likely have a premium SUV available. Thankfully, we decided to call instead of just going there blindly, and sure enough, no premium SUVs in the whole city were available. They just apologized, never attempting to explain why you can reserve a car with absolutely no guarantee it will be available, and they did not even offer to make it up to us in any way. This was the worst experience and we will never rent from Enterprise again.

Very good|Apr 2023Drop-off at the SLC airport was quick and easy. Fabulous! When we picked up the car in Las Vegas we had to wait 45 minutes for a car to be available since they were over-booked. It would have been nice if a car was available when we arrived.

Poor|Aug 2023Terrible. This is my first experience with Sixt and it was terrible. I reserved an suv, paid online, and when I tried to pick it up, the agent said they didnt have the vehicle I rented and only had a BMW and either a Traverse or Highlander (she wasn't sure) and I had to pay another $93 per day for it because they are upgrades. When I told her I already paid online and questioned why I would have to pay more she said, "You people rent cars at the last minute and expect to get the low price on the screen?" I provided a rental confirmation # from Sixt but she denied that Sixt agreed to rent me anything. She made no attempt to find anything else, offer another time slot, or provide one of the two remaining vehicles at the price I already paid. Sixt cost me a last minute hotel room in Vegas and I missed work while traveling home the next day. I've called and emailed customer service multiple times over the last two days and they still haven't refunded my rental. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Poor|Jul 2023The rental company refused to rent to me becaue they wanted the physical card that the purchase was made with and afirm is a virtual card. Stix also refuses to refund the transaction and they refused to let me pay the deposit with my other credit card. I feel like I've been ripped off and now I have to pay for a car monthly to afirm I never recived.

Poor|May 2023Due to a delayed Southwest flight, the facility closed at 5pm and I wasn't able to get my car. Instead I went to the Sixt car rental facility at the airport and paid for another car. I've tried to reach out to Sixt, but they have yet t reply. Very disappointed.

Poor|Feb 2023Sixt are a bunch of thieves. Counter person had no idea what she was doing. Car had 40000 miles on it and was dirty. Waited twenty minutes for a car. She then pre.charged me without my consent and they ended up stealing the money when I brought the car back early. Just an absolute disgrace and I will never use them again. Don’t even think of renting from sixt.

Poor|Sep 2023The staff seemed rude and bothered by doing their jobs. The line to check in was enormous and super slow. The fact that a customer is offered to check in online and then still have to wait in a line to give information you already gave again. There is no point for the online check in. In the future, when I am in need of a rental car I will not be using Budget. I will be more than happy to pay more for better service elsewhere.

Poor|Sep 2023I made a reservation in februari to rent a car in august. I wanted to be sure that everything was in order in advance. When i came to the office of budget, they told me i couldn't ride to Wyoming. That's the policy of the company. They told me to go to the main office at the airport in Las Vegas. I made another busride for 1h15min. At the main office they told me the same story. I said you have to make this clear by the reservation. I didn't receive this information because i booked with kayak instead of on their website. The agent blamed me for not looking to the terms on their website. This is not my fold in my opinion. They have to make terms with their partners so people who want to make a reservation know the terms. This is a bad experience. I lost a full day searching for an afordable rental car by other companies. I cannot recommend to rent a car with budget.

Poor|Nov 2024Run! Don’t walk! Las Vegas location. They force you to pay $30 per day for their insurance, after you have to take (2) shuttle buses from the airport. They know once you’re at their location you’re trapped and it would be very inconvenient to take the shuttle bus back to the main rental car location to go with a different company. After they force you to pay for their insurance literally any other rental car company would be cheaper, and much more convenient, without having to take multiple shuttle buses from the airport. Also, plan on blowing at least an extra hour after you get off your flight before you get into a rental car, same goes for drop off, you need to plan on being at their location at least 1 hour sooner than if you rented from a company at the main car rental location, without having to take multiple shuttles. Never again!

Poor|Jan 2024Took the cab to car rental to pick up vehicle. Was helped by the person at the end. After I told him I was easy and that I didn’t need any extra coverage his tone changed. He asked if I have my cell phone to confirm my identity as well as passport. I left both in hotel. He refused to rent me the car and cancelled it. Cost me 70$ round trip by cab.

Very good|Sep 2023The use of Kayak was great! To pick up the rental from the airport, one would have to take a rental car bus to the ACE shuttle. There is an unorganized wait for the shuttle that comes every 15-20 minutes to the off site ACE rental car location. The facility is located in an industrial area and in a garage. Looks sketchy. Once inside of the office, it is dingy, old, and filthy. The staff helping is very nosy and wants to know a lot of who, what, why, how, when questions. One attendant helping a customer was uncomfortably flirting with him. She said,“Invite me to party!” “Give me your number on this post it.” “Text me about your dog so I know who it is.” I must note you are picking up the rental in an individual building with a car wash inside. Once gathered the paperwork for the rental, you go a window and pick up the keys. The attendant informs you where to go. Once existing ACE, you are checked out with another attendant. I waited for 4-5 min to be helped. I walked to the “shed” to gain the attention of the attendant. Yup, she was rude and aggressive. She took photos of the rental and sent me off. The care was great!!! Return of the rental, a lady sat in a Jeep rental and walked out to check me in. She was nice, but not sure where I wait for the shuttle. Bathrooms are filthy and smelt like urine. While I waited for the shuttle in an unmarked area and wonder if I was in the correct spot. Customers are smoking weed infront of the ACE warehouse. No direction was given when an employee passed by. From a 1-5 I would give a 2-3 just because the car was great and so was the price. Plan on as an additional 2 hour to pick up and drop off your rental.

Poor|Mar 2025They never showed up to pick us up to get our rental. Did not answer their phone or chat. We found out that they close at 7pm and our flight didn't even get in until 7:20. Will NEVER book with advantage again and will tell everyone I know how bad they suck! Now I have to fight the charges also!

Very good|Nov 2024Customer service could have been a little bit better but renting the car was easy peasy lemon squeezy. Best price in town for a car rental I would definitely use advantage car rentals again for any future rentals when I visit Las Vegas. Another Plus is the rental agency is right across from the bus terminal that takes you to the airport. Thank you advantage car rental for your service.

Wonderful|Nov 2024The vehicle was dirty on the outside with some chips in the paint around trunk area but I made sure to take a video before I left the parking lot just in case they would accuse me of damaging their rental car. They did not end up saying anything so overall this was a great place to rent a vehicle. I would use them again !!!!!

Poor|Jun 2024Kayak and this advantage location are a SCAM. when you get to the counter they force you to buy their insurance and liability even though I already declined during my booking on kayak and I have personal insurance already. I’ve been renting cars for 50 years and it seems that this is a new tactic for car rental companies in Las Vegas to charge you way more than the price promised when you show up at their counter. The lady working said that it’s their policy that they don’t accept international insurance. I asked her where does it say that in the policy because I have read it and printed it out and she could not answer me. I said nowhere in the policy nor on kayak’s website it said such things and she said “well that’s just the policy”. I have lost confidence in kayak and will think twice in using this site in the future. You have lost a frequent customer.

Poor|Jun 2024The final cost of the rental was not what was quoted. They refuse to allow you to decline insurance even when you have coverage through your car insurance and credit card. I even showed them my insurance policy. I've never had a car rental company insust you take insurance. They would not give me the final cost until it was time to sign the agreement. I was quoted about $78, it ended up being about $125. I feel like I was the victim of a " bait and switch" scam. The interior of the car was clean, but the exterior was fairly dirty. I will never use Advantage rental cars again. It is not a pleasant experience feeling like you were scammed. I was not the only person in line who was not happy with the "bait and switch".

They allowed me to make a reservation for that same day online along with an upfront fee, and then when I arrived a staff member clarified that if you'd made a same day reservation "thrifty will not honor it." So basically they scammed tons of people by letting them book online then refusing to honor it. Just raking in the partial up front fee from who knows how many people just because stock was low and it appeared like one of the only options left.

Poor|Apr 2025The first lady that was trying to help me gave me to small SUV when I ordered a full size one. Please use correct car photos instead of misleading people to when they are actually getting. I then bought a 3rd party insurance and the lady at dollar told me that was good and FORCED me to buy $100 insurance through them!!!!?? Forced me to get it!! It didn't even seem like she wanted to be at work and keep sending people to other places to pick up their reservations. I will never use dollar rental ever again and will hell everyone of my experience.

Poor|Jul 20231. Extremely overbooked. Some customer supposed to pick up the car at night but no car left. They had to uber back and forth from their hotel the next day. 2. Extremely under-staffed. Waited 3 hours (1 hour outside waiting for cars get returned and washed. It was 110F outside and I almost passed out without water) I have all the pictures and videos recorded with time. 3. My car was full of scratches and a big dent. Car gas was not filled fully, it was 10% short. (About 5-10 dollars). I told the person checked me out at the gate about the scratches and asked him to leave a note in the system. They ended up still charging me when I dropped off! STAY AWAY!
