$2K on a deductible, that’s just INSANE, I have rented cars in 12 country’s and done it for more than a decade. Never got asked for this stupid amount of money for deposit. I did not rented the car, I did not use it, and I will never use this company again.

Bait and switch. I had a reservation for $300 and they wanted to charge me $350 additional for insurance! Wouldn’t rent me the car unless I paid close to $700 with fees. I told them to take a hike!

Pick-up was extremely slow. 45 minutes of dealing with counter people. This was after being told by the airport desk that we had to go to the main office to get the car, as their computer system was down. Then, midstream, they tell us the insurance we purchased when making the reservation (thru Kayak), was no good, so we needed to buy it thru them locally. Another $100. Not happy with Sixt, Not happy with Kayak

I returned the car with a full tank however the gas indicator was faulty not showing that is full. I showed them the receipt that I just filled the car. Despite that, they did believe me and proceeded to waste my time by making me go to the gas station with their staff that would confirm that I didn't lie. Wasting my time is one thing but they also made me feel like I'm a liar that is trying to cheat them of a few dollars.
Please, advise your customers that in Honduras it is mandatory to purchase car insurance. Price went from $732 to $1,115.

They applied a darkening paper on the windshield. This film was applied wrong and it makes it really hard for the driver to see outside. This made my head hurt the entire time I was driving as everything looks distorted.

I made a reservation through Kayak and when I arrived to Honduras they didn’t gave me the price that I was supposed to for my rental and the car insurance that I purchased didn’t matter because they charged me differently when I arrived. The customer service was the worst, I received calls for 5 different representatives, but the worst was a lady called Ruth Figueroa the most rude and unprofessional person ever. Don’t book any rental car for Honduras with Ace. The worst of the worst!!!!

Only one person working there i guess it’s fine. What is not fine was the paper work. Also 2 types of insurance to buy instead of one is not what i’m used to. Furthermore they make you leave a $1500 dollars deposit that i wish i knew when i booked online. Then to return the car is super slow process and you don’t get your deposit right away (7 days later). Again, i wish the staff should have said that to begin with. The only thing good was the price.

They will make you take 2 types of insurance coverage for the care...yes MANDATORY. The insurance was $25/day which was actually more than the rental. I finally explained to them I have international coverage on my AMEX and only after sending them an email full did they drop it to $12.99/day. By that time I didn't want the car so I went to another.

I was told that I didn't had a reservation, even after I showed the printed version and the email that was sent to me a.day before confirming my reservation. This will be the last time using such company super unhappy 😡 with the services
I reserved a car online via Kayak for 80$. When I went to pick the car up, Hertz said they can't give me the car unless I take their insurance for additional 240$, despite me already having full primary rent-a-car insurance that would cover up to the full price of the car if totaled or stolen.

The reservation I made was unsuccessful when I arrived they told me you guys don’t know if the car is available your website is not updated (this is what the lady told me) car wasn’t available insurance was mandatory the price was not available as well I rented another car at different cost with different company the car I select wasn’t available price wasn’t honored to me! You need to contact Hertz at San Pedro Sula airport they have not idea How to work with online reservation bad experience when I was there with my kids without car was super stressful because I did not have food for them I was prepared for just one hour to wait I waited for ever

Time at drop off was a little long and no indication of drop off point. I had no idea where to drop the car off and ended up asking a guard and he told me to park it in the handicap space and go inside. The return review was done while I was waiting in the office. The car was returned in the condition it was rented but I feel I should have been present in case there were any problems
The car had dents and scratches all over it. It took the guy 5 mins just to draw them all down on the form. Car was missing a tire jack so a flat tire was a constant worry on the rough roads. Tiffany at the desk was great, though..
