We were happy with the services except - 1. The car we were assigned to wasn't in its parking spot. Had to walk in & out of building several times. The car we eventually got was fine. 2. Thrifty apparently is owned by an Italian company. This fact WASN'T MENTIONED ANYWHERE UNTIL WE GOT CHARGED FOREIGN TRANSACTION FEES BY OUR CREDIT CARD ON OUR RENTAL!!!!

It took forever to rent the car. They needed more staff or just a faster process. Also, the car I was initially given wasn't in the space I was told so I needed to walk back in and have them find me another car. Also, I got a $465 bill when I was only expect $24 charge. I literally used the car for less than 6 hours!!! It was ridiculous and I'm still waiting for my credit card to be refunded. Great value but not work the stress and time I've spend getting my money back. Last rental with Thrifty

There was no one at the counter when we arrived and were told that they are hardly ever there. We did not know what to do there was no sign or instructions on the counter or in our email. The security guard said “try the hertz counter. “ we did and got a car after much concern It was the same on the way home and I hav e still not received my email receipt.

Pick up was a nightmare. No cars available and many people waiting over an hour of their scheduled pick up time. I will never rent from this company again. Drop off was easy.

Hertz closed the office, but never transferred it to another location. When I discovered this, Hertz wanted to charge me a $100 cancellation fee because they CANNOT TRANSFER the reservation to a different location. Also, I would have to pay the new current rate and would not apply the prepaid amount. I finally was able to find an 800 number person to rebook me to a different location. 2 days before pickup, the manager at the new location called and said he did not have the requested vehicle, but would TRANSFER it to a yet a 3rd location for me. When I turned the vehicle in, they tried to charge me $6.00 more for taxes because you could not prepay taxes. But the receipt I was handed at vehicle pickup showed that the taxes were prepaid. A rental with a lot of high anxiety!!
