Worst experience with their desk person Jackie and her manager Dana. We got there at 8:40am for our 9am pickup and did not get our car until past 11am. And the attitude of both of them was the worst. Incompetency at its finest.

My c bc old accidently booked this trip. I immediately called kayak and fox the car rental company. Neither would cancel or let me reschedule. I wasn't even in the the state and it just ended up being wasted money. I feel like i was robbed.

When I arrived I did not have the cc that I booked the car with due to my bank sending me a new card because of a fraudulent charge. The agent refused to accept another card even though I had proof I was the person that booked the car. She offered no assistance in resolving the issue and told me my only option was to book another car at 4 times the rate I originally booked the car for. I tried to contact someone in customer service but was unable to get an actual person on the phone. In order not to be stranded I booked another car. I finally got someone from Hertz on the phone the next day and was bounced from one person to another. I was finally told that I would get a call back from someone that could help me resolve the issue. That was July 2. Today is July 9 and I have yet to hear from anyone. I do not expect that I ever will. I WILL NEVER RENT A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
Tremendous wait to pickup rental. Over an hour in line waiting to be attende.. booth was sharing four different rental agencies. Terrible Terrible Terrible.

They tried to give a old van in horrible shape Then they said I didn’t return the van and started charging 1000 per day Scary
I returned the car 5 minutes after 10 rather than just prior to 10 and was charged a full additional day. Will never use National again for that reason.
The overall experience was great! I needed a large truck to buy a piece of furniture for my toddler. The prices at the airport were most affordable but they did not allow me to park my personal vehicle at the rental location for longer than 20 mins! The only solution was to pay for parking at the airport and shuttle back and forth, which was pretty difficult with 2 toddlers and 2 car seats. They were very un-accommodating and delayed my trip by an hour. Other than that, it was a great car!

Drop off was a breeze. Pick up took 3 hours. Manager came out after 2 and a half hours in line. Decided to take people out of line that had made their reservations any day but the same day. The. Created a new line with these customers. Then proceeded to help these customers then once they were helped she disappeared again. She left only two individuals at the front counter helping the rest of a very long line. Extremely poor management.

We arrived at the rental car center at 7:50 pm. We drove away with our car at 10:40 pm. I am sympathetic that Christmas Eve is hard for staffing but it was a miserable wait with only two people serving over 50 customers ahead of us. The worst part though is that while we got a car, we were one of the last ones. I don’t understand how they can’t figure out their inventory and were still making confirmed reservations when they didn’t have enough cars.

Check the vehicle over before next renter. The tank was not full, the back passenger side tire was under inflated and I have had to add air 3 times since rental, and lastly the vehicle had a Florida tag that expired in June 2022. other wise vehicle is comfortable and runs well. I would use Payless again.
