Car rentals at Los Angeles Airport

The wait to get a car was 2.5 hours. As I’m in line, I can hear the representatives & how kindly they treat the other clients. When I got to the counter with my reservation that had unlimited miles, they discriminated against me and told me the car was for 150 miles only and I would have to pay 50 cents per miles after that. The funny thing is, they never asked for my ID, they never asked to see my reservation, they never asked where I was headed, they never asked for my flight information like they did everyone else. They decided that I wasn’t fit to drive their rental car. To give more context, I had on a t-shirt & shorts because it was hot outside. I also wear a mask when traveling due to the overexposure to people and germs. I am in my 30s but most people think I’m in my 20s. I am a doctor and I have my own business. I was traveling for the holiday weekend because my aunt passed away and I missed my last hospital visit because I couldn’t get to my destination because of the older gentleman at the counter decided to treat me less than human. I’m currently grieving but I have reached out to my lawyer to see what can be done about this situation because I lost a lot this day that I can never get back. I hope the people who work the front counter at the LAX location find peace because I did not ask for any special accommodation, I was never rude nor did I argue with anyone like other customers who still received a car unlike me. I just would like to be treated like everyone else.

1.Lower rates. I paid $152 for a one day rental. Seems a bit high. 2. Better airport shuttle. Took 45 mins for a shuttle to arrive to take us to the airport.

The gentleman who assisted us at pick up was par-excellent. His name is L.C. at Midway LAX The vehicle we reserved was not ready at pickup but L.C. resolved the matter to our satisfaction. It was ok. I arrived early and they told me I needed to wait until 2pm to get the rate I paid online. I 100% understand. I initially was willing to check out early but didn’t realize it would be more expensive. I decided to wait. I reserved a full size Toyota Camry online but they gave me a Nissan Sentra. The agent told me the Sentra was a full size car which it’s absolutely not. My sister is tall so I reserved the full size and that’s what I expected. The agent lied and told me to was. I went ahead and took it because I needed a car. I did not appreciate getting a car I did not reserve

Awful customer service. Would take me an essay to explain the horrible, unfair experience

Everything was great, except knowing where to go after landing. I had to call to find out and it took a little while.

The ladies at check in and check out made all the difference. Our first time in LA began with a smile and ended with a smile. Thanks to Alamo

We completed the online check in and were in our car in a hurry. Which was great because we picked up the car at 1am

I .m waiting news from Alamo hey charge me twice !!! My réservation was 1500$ they charged me 1317$ when i take the car and 1083$ at depuis off!! I m not satisfied of this Olivier Morin

Customer service was excellent, pickup and drop off were both very fast. Van was clean, and worked well. I can't think of anything reasonable that could be improved.

Unfortunately Enterprise would not rent me the car because, according to their policies, at an Airport location you must have a Credit Card (not a debit card) in order to rent a car (as a local resident).

They didn’t have the car we ordered and we had to scramble across town to get something else.

The info sent to pick up the car was incorrect. I spent almost an hour tracking down a ride and figuring out where to go. The staff wasn’t that great. The Expedia customer service was ok but couldn’t really do much. The Airport Van customer service line was friendly and the sole redeeming factor. The car smelled like cigarettes and wasn’t really that clean and they gave it to me nearly with an empty tank of gas. I definitely do not recommend. That said. They were cheap.

I rented a Chrysler mini van for our trip in Los Angeles, CA. Airport Van Rental was a very good deal compared to the other rental companies. The only issue we really had was trying to find their office when we went to pick the vehicle up because it’s located in the far back part of the Four Points Sheraton Hotel. I would definitely rent a vehicle from them again.

There is too many things wrong with this place don’t even know where to start. Will never refer anyone to this place.
