Ryanair has announced a new Nordic route from its Newcastle base. From May 19 the Irish low-cost front-runner will launch from Newcastle to Oslo Rygge.

The Russian air carrier Aeroflot has announced an increase in schedule for two flights out of Moscow Sheremetyeyo. The two services to Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh will be upped from two to five weekly flights from March 28.

Wizz Air has announced a new route Lviv in Ukraine. The central-European low-cost airline will operate a new route to Venice Treviso will launch on May 10 and operate on a weekly basis.

Germanwings will from March 30 launch a twice weekly service from Cologne to Tel Aviv.
