Lufthansa strike postponed for time being

   

The Lufthansa strike that began on Monday the 22nd of February has been suspended. The typical 1,800 daily flights will operate irregularly. Especially long-haul flights will still be affected. Both sides have agreed to postpone the strike until March 9, and have for now resumed negotiations. Germanwings will also be affected by the irregularities.

Cimber Sterling will add three new routes to Antalya in Turkey. The three routes will fly from Billund (launching on March 28), Copenhagen (March 31) and Aalborg (June 16). The routes will all operate on a weekly basis, with the Billund and Copenhagen routes increasing to respectively two and three weekly flights com June 16.

Air Italy have announced three new routes for their Summer schedule. The new routes from Naples will fly to Milan Bergamo from May 3 on a 12 times weekly basis, to Palermo also from May 3 on a daily basis, and to Nice from July 26 four times weekly.

Air Berlin will from May 2 launch a new service from Berlin to Poland. The route will be serviced four times weekly from Berlin’s Tegel Airport to Gdansk.
