Delta Air Lines has announced that they will re-introduce the service between Manchester and New York JFK next summer. The route, which was scrapped barely a month ago, will be temporarily taken out of service on January 7. The connection will continue as of now, jointly operated by codeshare partner Air France / KLM.

Swiss low-cost airline Baboo has announced a new seasonal ski route from Oxford. From December 19 the new route will operate daily to Geneva in Switzerland.

Ryanair has announced three new routes for their upcoming winter schedule. The routes, which will operate from the end of November, will fly from Paris Beauvais to Bratislava, from Pisa to Las Palmas and from Trapini to Madrid.

American carrier jetBlue has announced an “Island Joy” sale, with flights available to hot and sunny island destinations such as the Bahamas and Bermuda. Fares range from $ 29 (ca. € 20) to $ 139 (ca. € 94) each way, not including taxes and fees. Blackout dates include November 23 – 30. Book by tomorrow, Friday October 30.

easyJet has announced the new routes for their upcoming winter schedule. Starting this Thursday, October 29, new routes will fly to Marrakech from Manchester, Fuerteventura from Liverpool, Porto from London Gatwick and Tel Aviv from London Luton. One-ways are available from £ 34.99 (ca. € 39) including taxes.

FlyBe has unveiled their winter schedule including more than 140 routes. Many of these routes have been put on sale with low fares available to for example Paris from just £ 29.99 (ca. € 33). Book as early as possible in order to take advantage of the early bird low fares.

British Airways has launched a new direct service between London and Las Vegas. The airline started operating this route from London Heathrow to Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport on Sunday October 25.

Brussels Airlines has announced a fifth daily flight between Brussels and Copenhagen for the upcoming winter schedule.

FlyBe has launched a “free” flights sale. Several European cities are available in the sale, including  Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Paris and London. The “free” sale means you only have to pay taxes and charges. Travel before December 31. Book by midnight (GMT) tonight, Wednesday October 21.

easyJet has announced that they will move airport on their twice-daily flight from London Luton to Belfast. From January 7, 2010, the route to Belfast will fly to George Best Belfast City Airport instead of Belfast International Airport.

SAS has launched a sale with Economy Extra fares available to the US and Asia from £ 869 (ca. € 963) return including taxes and charges. Economy Extra is SAS’s premium economy class, with extra legroom, wider seats and a few other improvements from regular Economy Class. Cities available in the trade include Beijing, Dubai and New York. Travel until December 31. Book by Saturday, October 31.

JetBlue has launched a Halloween sale with last-minute deals available for $ 31 (ca. € 21) one-way. The catch is that you have to fly after noon local time on October 31. Offer counts all nonstop US routes.

Jet2.com is set to launch four new routes from their base at Manchester Airport. The four new routes are set to debut next summer, and will fly to Prague, Dubrovnik, Split and Reus. The Dubrovnik, Split and Reus routes will be operated twice weekly, while Prague will have a one weekly route.

Alitalia are offering a winter sale for American travellers with flights available mainly to Italy, but also other Alitalia hubs around Europe, from $ 590 (ca. € ) for a return ticket with taxes and fees included. Travel between October 25 and March 10, 2010, to destinations as Rome, Florence and Paris.

US Airways has launched a sale with domestic and international flights. Travel across the US, or to foreign destinations such as Nassau and Paris. Fares are one-way excluding taxes and fees, flying you domestically from $ 72 (ca. 48). Travel domestically this weekend including Monday, October 20. Book by Saturday, October 17. Internationally booking deadline is Sunday, October 19, but travel goes on until November 15.

Dallas-based Southwest Airlines has announced 28 new flights from Baltimore-Washington International. Schedule changes will be effective from March 14 till May 7, 2010, but booking is already available now.

Virgin Atlantic sale to Asia and Africa ends this week. Flights are available to Dubai, Nairobi, Mauritius and Johannesburg. Flights from London are available from £ 324 (ca. € 352) for a return. Travel dates vary depending on the destination. Book by Friday, October 9.

TAP Portugal has launched a sale with flights to Europe, North and South America, including London, Rio de Janeiro and New York. Prices vary depending on the distance of the flight, but are all in all available from £ 52 (ca. € 56) one-way including taxes. Travel by November 30 and again between January 10 and March 31, 2010.

Wizz Air has announced that they will re-launch the route between Robin Hood Airport and Wroclaw in Poland next summer. The route is set to open on July 19, 2010.

KLM has announced that they will re-launch their service between Amsterdam and Bali. The route is set to debut on December 6 after 11 years of retirement. The route is set to be operated thrice weekly.
