Lufthansa has launched a sale on flights to Munich, with fares available from $ 333 (ca. € 226) one-way not including taxes and fees. Flights are available from US cities, including New York, Chicago and San Francisco, with travel possible in time for the famous Oktoberfest. Book by September 17, depart until October 1, and return between September 20 and January 1, 2010.
British Airways has launched a sale for the Americans. Flights are available to Europe from $ 190 (ca. € 129) each way, not including taxes and fees. Flights are available from an array of US cities to European destinations, including Madrid, Rome and Paris. Travel between October 22 and March 28, 2010. Black-out dates are December 21, 22 and 23. Book by September 24.
Wizz Air, the central European carrier, will launch a new route for the upcoming winter season. Starting in October, the new route will operate between Ukrainian capital Kiev and Italian city Venice (Treviso). The route will be operated twice weekly.
FlyGlobespan are set to launch a new route between Aberdeen in the UK and Dubrovnik in Croatia. The route is set to begin on May 5, 2010, will operate on a weekly basis.
