FlyBe has launched a quick sale with up to 50 per cent off its most popular routes. The low-cost carrier is giving passengers a chance to save on flights from the UK on both domestic and short-haul international routes. Hurry up as the limited-time seat sale ends tonight, Wednesday September 30.
FlyGlobespan has announced that they will re-launch its popular flights between Cardiff and Orlando. When the service starts in May 2010 there will be fares available from £ 170 (ca. € 187) one-way.
Norwegian Air Shuttle has announced that they will begin flying between Aalborg and Paris Orly this winter. Starting on November 20 the service will be operated twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays.

Cathay Pacific, which operates out of Hong Kong airport, will be launching a new route between London Heathrow Airport and Fiji. The service will include a stop-over in Hon Kong, where passengers will transfer to a code-share flight operated by Fijian national carrier Air Pacific. The flights will have two weekly flights starting from December 3.
Jet2.com has announced a new route to Portugal for next summer. The route will operate weekly between Manchester and Funchal, on the Portuguese island Madeira. The route will debut on May 3 2010.
American Airlines will launch a new service between Manchester and New York JFK. The announcement comes only a week’s time after Delta Air Lines announced that they will cut their service between the two cities. The flight which is set to be launched next summer will be operated on a daily basis.
Finnair will be re-opening their continental flights to Delhi and Shanghai for the winter. The daily operated routes will be launched respectively on September 28 and October 5. The routes will run for the winter season.

bmibaby are starting a massive expansion at East Midlands taking place over the coming months. The new flights operating from the UK base will fly to Alghero, Barcelona, Bastia, Dubrovnik, Cork, Malta, Newquay, Prague and Venice (Marco Polo).

easyJet is offering flights to ski destinations for the winter season on sale from £ 23.99 (ca. € 26) one-way including taxes and charges. Flights are available to eight different destinations including Geneva, Turin and Innsbruck. The flights run for the winter season.
