SAS puts 650,000 tickets on sale.

   

SAS have announced a huge sale starting tomorrow, Thursday August 20. 650,000 tickets will be on sale, with flights available domestically and internationally, including destinations London, Tokyo and New York. A return ticket to Milano is available from DKK 695, while returns to NYC can be found from DKK 3,495. Travel from October 1 to December 15. Book by August 31.

Continental Airlines has announced that they will be joining the Star Alliance airline group on October 27, thus leaving the second-largest airline alliance SkyTeam. The airline announced that members will not need to make changes to their accounts and their mileage balances will not be affected during the switch.

Blue Air, the Romanian low-cost airline, will launch two new routes to London this winter. From October 25 new routes will be flying from Bacau to London Luton and Sibiu to London Stansted.

With their newly acquired Danish operator’s certificate, Transavia will very soon begin operating routes from Denmark to destinations outside the EU. The first new route will be for the Danish travel agency Atlantis Rejser, operating a flight to Egypt.
